Currently seen in Destiny Cable ch. 82.  I like the fact that I can tune in anytime and see sports news.

Is this available in other cable providers?

Don't think it's on Skycable... and if ever they put it in the line-up, i'm pretty sure there will be an associated cost for it.

ESPN, TV5 join forces for rebranded "ESPN 5"

http://espnmediazone.com/us/press-releases/2017/10/tv-5-espn-collaborate-launch-espn-5-philippines/

Manny Pangilinan's TV 5 will be reformatted to an all-sports channel called "ESPN 5". ESPN 5 will air TV 5’s current sports rights portfolio, including the PBA, FIBA competitions, Gilas games, the UFC and Philippine SuperLiga, along with thousands of hours of new sports coverage and content from ESPN, which include more than 70 NFL games per season. These include Monday Night, Sunday Night and Thursday Night Football games, as well as the entire NFL Playoffs, the Super Bowl and Pro Bowl. Alongside the live games, ESPN 5 will be able to feature award-winning ESPN NFL studio programming such as NFL Live.

Other ESPN programming included in the ESPN 5 agreement includes:

* Original, award-winning ESPN studio programs including Around the Horn and Pardon The Interruption;
* College Basketball (including the March Madness NCAA Championship Tournaments);
* X Games, the premier action sports and youth lifestyle global competition;
* ESPN’s Big Fights library, including many of the greatest boxing fights of all time;
* ESPN Films’ multi-award winning sports documentaries (including the 30 for 30 series);
* Major conference American college football (including the College Football Playoff and National Championship and comprehensive coverage of the college football bowl season);
* IndyCar Racing (including the iconic Indianapolis 500); and
* Other NCAA college sport championships from baseball, softball, lacrosse and football.

There will also be a SportsCenter Philippine Edition, which will be a unique, daily program that will be produced each day from TV 5 studios in the Philippines.

Great news for local sports fans! Basta 'wag lang si Andy Jao sa SportsCenter.
We deserve better.

Good news. But I am not excited about this SportsCenter Philippine Edition. I find local sports anchors lame, except for a very, very few.  Puro mga wannabe sportscasters na wala talagang malalim na alam sa sports. Kabwisit lang manood pag ganyan.

Dapat din HD na ang broadcast ng TV5 kasi lahat ng sources from ESPN US 1080i na.

ESPN 5 will kick off its US NCAA coverage LIVE tomorrow with the State Farm Champions Classic doubleheader featuring Duke v. Michigan State and Kentucky v. Kansas:

Duke will be powered by next year's potential no. 1 NBA draft pick, Marvin Bagley.
We deserve better.
