effective ba to sa setup ng HTPC using optical papuntang receiver? pano connection nito computer to this device and device to receiver? sino na naka try sa inyo gamitin yung ganitong device?

that device connects to the PC via USB. you then connect it to a receiver via optical cable (or via analog cables if that's what you may fancy)

optical/digital coax can only carry up to 5.1 PCM, AC3, or DTS. if this is enough for you then it's worth a try.

for Dolby/DTS Lossless bitstreaming, and up to 7.1 PCM as well, you'd have to go with HDMI connection
