Philips BDP 2700/98

Trying this player out. I like that it is able to play my mkv movies from USB with 500HD capacity.

My issue is that my audio is stuck with PCM althought audio setting in the player is set to audiostream na. The disc i am playing is capable of DTS HD Master but still it ouputs PCM.

Care to help sirs?

I don't own this model but from what I read it cannot decode DTS-HD MA only Dolby True HD and standard DTS.

Oh I see. That is why. I verified and tried playing a Dolby True HD instead and it worked. Thanks mr coastal.
