Scoop (a Woody Allen film) - Nov 21
« on: Sep 19, 2006 at 02:43 PM »
Universal Home Video has sent over early details on Scoop which stars Scarlett Johansson and Hugh Jackman. This 'this hilariously twisted tale of murder and mystery' will be available to own from the 21st November, and should set you back around $29.98. The film itself will be presented in 1.85:1 anamorphic widescreen, along with an English Dolby Digital 2.0 Mono track. English, French and Spanish subtitles will also be provided. As far as we know, no extra material will be included on this one - but we'll let you know if that changes. We'll also bring you the official package artwork very shortly. Stay tuned for that.

I believed Match Point was also in DD 2.0, but for that one, it's the movie that makes up for it. Scoop on the other hand, is well, after watching it in theater, it never makes me interested at all in getting the DVD.

read from a user in dvdactive that woody allen films are dialog driven, that's why they don't need surround sound. so were all his dvds in DD 2.0  ::)

I have INTERIORS and audio is rather bad. Yes.. Dolby Digital Mono 2.0  and no English subtiles:( but this is my favorite Woody Allen movie.
