MKV split and merging

I recently encountered a need to split a particular mkv file into several segments and rearrange into 1 mkv again.

Is there any good freeware tool out there to do this?

Ty nyo HJ-Split , used before when I encountered multi parts video. It's a freeware just DL from their webpage.

tried this, it cuts files by chunks, needed to cut at specific time to split sana.

MKVMerge has a nice split feature ...... you can specify the exact time you want to do the cut.

Haven't tried merging split files before though .....
