Yes, I am refering to tower. I've auditioned this both at megamall and raon showroom. But if you're planning to purchase better to go to raon mas mura dun. You can get this for only 3.8K compared to the showroom which is around 5.4K (SRP). Try as well the bookshelf... it sound well. Enough for surround speaker.

Cheers

wow..a floorstander for 3.8k!! :o :o :osamismong dai ichi basa raon?

Sa baba ng daichi showroom. Look for Jennifer Sy of Knight Audio Room, Tel 736-3881 or 736-3882. Tsonggo_26 is referring to this store. I actually went with him last weekend.

Is that at Raon?  how big is this thing? kasya ba to sa 4-door civic? If it is at raon, where is the safest parking? thanks!

BTW, is the DTX good mainly in movies or pwede rin sa music? comments please...

DTX is also good for music. You may test all their speakers naman at their roan showroom. Safest parking is in Isetan Recto.

I've auditioned both diamond series and this dtx series speakers and I would prefer the latter one. I like the response of the dtx 9.5T than the diamond 8.3.

DTX 9.5T Specifications:
Impedance - 6 Ohms
Sensitivity - 91dB
Freq. Response - 65Hz to 20Khz
Power Handling 140 Watts Peak

tsonggo_26,

Not sure if they have dtx na less than 10" na sub. But I would suggest that you have to audition all dtx subs and you will surely convinced how well the dtx 4.15 performs (15") for its price.

Mr. Tsonggo,

Tanong ko lang if what are the input terminals and controls located at the back of the DTX 15" Subwoofer.

Thanks.

But if the receiver is rated below 75W rms, pwede mong i-todo yung daichi.

Yes it can. It's just a difference of 2ohms. Not that bad compared to a 4ohms impedance. Note that the speaker frequency response at 65Hz-20kHz.  6ohms is usually computed at the lowest frenquency (worst case) which is 65Hz. Above this frequency the speaker impedance is higher than 6ohms.
Just to have an Idea, we tested dtx9.5T towers set up for surround using SAKURA AV377 (output impedance front (4ohms), surround (8ohms)) and set to max volume. Still it drives the speaker well.

Hi Bullet,

Di ko na notice kung ano ang input terminals na nagamit pero yung mga controls nasa likod and yung speaker is front firing with 3 port holes sa harap.

Hi Bro,

One of my friends bought a dtx 9.5 and sakura combination! And i tell you the set-up is very acceptable for an entry level! Or yet best buy for it's price!  :D

However, i notice the bass is a little bit lacking in some response! (or kulang sa bilog). But with additional sub, its a good remedy for that band hole.

With regards to the naturalness of sound, i notice that some sound reproduction is not accurate as it should be! i.e. if source sounds "tik!" and when amplified with a better set-up it should also sound "TIK!" (Only amplified). But with this set-up combination, the source "tik!" sounded "TEK!" But if your ears are not that selective you can hardly notice it.

If your just new comer in the audio hobby! dtx and sakura set-up is a very good start up!

enjoy!
