Topic: NAD C325BEE Problem

I hope somebody can help me with this:

My 4-year-old NAD C325BEE has been having some problems with powering up lately. First I switch on the main switch at the back then as soon as I switch on the amp from standby using the front power button, there is an unusually long delay before the relay clicks and then I hear a loud pop from the speakers after which the amp goes into speaker protection mode with the red led indicator on. This only happens after being completely powered-off for a while. From there, if I turn it off then on again, it works normally.

This problem only started happening recently and I've double-checked all the cables and connections to no avail. I'm worried that the loud popping might damage the speakers in the long run.

Bro. ganyan din problem nung NAD ni bro. nels76 two years ago na. PM mo kaya sya kung pano naresolve yung problem nya. IMO, sa circuit leading to the relay may masisira ng parts lalo na pag galing sa completely off operation.,(ex. magdamag na di ginamit then kinaumagahan pag on, dyan lalabas yung problem. Kakatakot lang baka madamay speaker.

Always turn oof the unit first on the remote, this will go back  to stand by mode and then push the power button of the unit to off.

^ I appreciate the friendly advice dude but I know that already. You're way off the mark with regards to the problem, unfortunately. 

Just an update: I brought the unit in for check-up and repairs at the NAD service center. The technician did mention that the speakers/speaker wiring may be the culprits since the protection circuit of the amp is being tripped although these haven't been confirmed yet. Will post updates here on the subsequent findings and eventual resolution.

I already got my amp back and its working fine now. Turns out 2 transistors in the power stage were busted.
