Saw that Donnel Harvey is in town ....... though it's most likely he's here at TnT's calling.

He'll probably replace TnT's current import who played passive during their first game.

Should Harvey be released from TnT, he'll make a good import for BGK - active and plays his heart out, though lacking FT accuracy.

Though smaller compared to the other imports, PETRON's Balkman is the most talented import.

He fits PETRON since that team has local bigs to play the post.

Dunnigan (AIR21) and Dozier (ALASKA) looks like keepers as well.

For me Balkman and Global Port's import (forgot the name) is a keeper. That's only based on the games I've watched so far.

Ginebra loses again...
Great game for Global Port...
The import is really a shot blocking demon!!!
Ginebra needs more local support.
Kerby, LA, Ellis, Helterbrand are all non factor.
New coach... Same old team...

Sol Mercardo was really controlling and orchestrating very well for Global Port, making his team mates look good with all those assists...

** BGK's import Hill has the heart, but is too slow and lacks the hops to compete with the other imports ...... Tenorio has been horrible the 1st two games ...... Caguioa is still shooting without conscience ..... BGK forwards with very little contribution ....... let's see if new import Macklin will get things going.

** PETRON looking good so far ...... they got the perfect import to complement their lineup. PETRON has always lacked the energy-guy who will cover the holes - rebounding, help-defense, running the lanes, etc ....... Balkman showing his NBA pedigree.

** ALASKA wins it's 3rd straight close game ...... import Dozier showing his NBA pedigree as well.

** BARAKO with a good start ...... however, still can't believe that a coach like Toroman is giving full-reins to a PG like Urbiztondo ..... Urbiztondo is a deadly spot-up shooter, but he is no lead PG - little passing and set-up skills ...... he's actually taking shots from more his more accurate teammates.

never really been impressed with Tenorio.. he's not a good shooter so his game really depends on penetration.. he's not the quickest PG out there so it's not really an advantage as well.. he's smart but when his outside shots aren't falling and he's being guarded by bigger or quicker defenders, he's useless.. Ginebra would have been better off trading for Casio instead of Tenorio..

Urbiztondo is not lead-PG material but he's worse as a backup PG especially for a weak bench.. He'll be looking to shoot even more if he has limited minutes.. And Toroman has been using Jonas and Josh together most of the time.. They've played more together in their 1st 3 games so Josh has really been more of a 2-guard with license to shoot..

Toroman has been doing a good job making do with the roster he has.. His substitution patterns and the pacing of his veterans have been impressive.. The resurgence of Danny Seigle is mostly because of Toroman's pacing of his minutes.. he barely uses him in the 1st half but he always puts him in during the endgame.. That amount of trust has given Seigle so much confidence that he's been Mr. Clutch for Barako in the past 3 games..

San Mig Coffee got blown out again, this time by 28 vs RoS. Mas maganda pa yung laro nila nung wala silang import. They now join Ginebra at the bottom with a 0-3 standing. Barako, on the other hand, just wont die. They once again come back from being down double digits with less than 5 mins left in the 4th. Toroman really is a good coach. Di nagpapanic. He just sets up the plays and trusts his players.

Good games tonight ....... GLOBAL-ROS & PETRON-ALASKA.

GLOBAL showing that a lineup of scorers doesn't guarantee wins ...... while ROS showing that an obscure lineup working together, can get you wins.

Cant wait for that inevitable collision between Tubid & Abueva ...... I can almost see it, both Tubid & Abueva will chase after a loose ball. They collide, throw some elbows and then both will flop as if a landmine had exploded.  ;D

I've never seen it happen ever in my life, a player choking his own teammate. Petron's import Balkman just choked Arwind Santos for no reason. Balkman was basically playing with no energy all game long then just explodes, in bad way, at the end. He pushed his coaches, si Tubid tinulak rin tapos sinakal si Arwind. It seemed like the guy was on something.

Ang lamya ng laro niya all game like he wasn't in it. He wasn't running the floor, not getting back on defense. He didn't even demand for the ball. He was fine with just watching his teammates. Tapos when the game was practically over, he confronts the referees. I don't get it. Where was that fire the entire game?

Just gave new meaning to choking at the end game.

Send this guy home or better yet, let him strut his wares in the UFC!

He's probably going to stay. Eala already hinted on it and even Racela said so. I just hope, this time, Salud makes the right decision. If the team won't send him home, force them to. Assault na yun eh. It's not part of the game anymore.

Balkman should be sent home ASAP ....... no place in basketball for that kind of outburst.

Had posted before about that small risk of signing-up imports with decent NBA credentials ...... past signees have shown primadonna attitudes among other negative things.

From Art Long (who had a similar outburst) to Hassan Adams, Rodney White, etc ..... most of these NBA guys play as if the league needs them to survive.

Sad state for Balkman, sine he had showed only positive things for his first 6 games.

If reports are true that Pogiboy Eala will keep Balkman ...... yet more shame for the disbarred Eala.

^ This incident was really shocking, to say the least. If Petron management has any respect for its team and its players, they should reconsider the decision to keep this guy as their import and not to ship him out immediately. It was even mentioned in a news article that Arwind was the first one to apologize. WTH?!

Blakman was so upset with the refs that he got more irritated with his teamates and coach pacifying him.
