One of the theories buzzing around is that he was resurrected from death by magic, by a certain someone specializing in magic--either Dr. Strange or the Scarlet Witch, both of which might be further explained in The Avengers 2 movie.

Ok I see. It is really a big possibility because he keeps on saying that several times already.

Also, whe he was talking with Agent Melinda May, he said something like "there is plenty of action in SHIELD." And she responded something like "Yeah, and you died."

how do you guys think Phil Coulson survived? i don't think he did and i think that the person in this series is a clone or a LMD. remember when he said in episode 3 when he was trying to disassemble the gun and he's fumbling that it "used to be muscle memory"? (i'm paraphrasing)

I believe Coulson is also a clone.  The key also for me was that scene where he was disassembling the pistol  Parang the body was not reacting naturally to his memories.  It's like your memories say you used to be a professional basketball player.  But when you step onto a court, you don't know how to shoot nor dribble.

In episode one, Agent Hill told the doctor who did the physicals of the team that Agent Coulson could never know the "truth about Tahiti". "Tahiti" would explain everything. :)

they need to write this a little better. it's starting to feel a bit like the mission impossible series.

First the jumping into the pool thing. Then walking around the room in her underwear.  These are really by design and not random script writing.  LOL

LOL, it's probably their way of luring the horny young adult geeks into watching, because at this point, the series seems to be gradually losing its viewers, and always getting trounced by NCIS in terms of viewership and ratings.

This was my most anticipated show for the new season, and I also stopped watching after the 3rd.

Great franchise, great premise, but...

I get what everybody is saying.  I still watch it though.  But..... I have two shows on that day.  And I always watch Person of Interest first.  I always "pause" SHIELD so that Person "finishes" first. ;D

with such a vast catalogue to mine stories from, I don't get it why they are fumbling this series, its getting too predictable, they should just reschedule this as a Saturday morning kiddie show

This show continues to sink, with the most recent episode yesterday being the lowest-rated episode ever. Since its pilot episode, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. has already lost half of its original viewers, and next week's Thor: The Dark World tie-in filler episode should be a test whether viewers are still interested in this clunker.

Could be just like Dollhouse where it started slowly? Hopefully. It's lucky to be linked with the Avengers hype  ;D

Did Dollhouse ever pick up its pace? People didn't really stick around to find out, and its a miracle that the show made it to its 2nd season.

Parang mauubusan na sila ng kwento. Corny na. Dapat mag cameo na isa isa ang avengers to make it more watchable. Not one character kse sa shield ang ok panuorin. Si Skye lang talaga.
