Just found out Netflix series "Messiah" was cancelled after only one season. I was really looking forward to season 2 and the succeeding ones. It has an interesting plot and makes for a good "What if" scenario of Jesus set in modern times. I really hope Netflix reconsiders.

‘American Gods’ Canceled After Third Season at Starz

“American Gods” has been canceled at Starz.

The series adaptation of Neil Gaiman’s novel of the same name will not return for a fourth season. However, sources tell Variety that the network is open to a potential event series or movie to wrap up any loose ends.

“American Gods will not return for a fourth season. Everyone at Starz is grateful to the dedicated cast and crew, and our partners at Fremantle who brought author and executive producer Neil Gaiman’s ever-relevant story to life that speaks to the cultural climate of our country,” a spokesperson for Starz said in a statement.

Sources say the decision not to continue with a fourth season was made due to low viewership, with multiplatform viewership declining 65% from the show’s first season to its third.

Disney Plus’ ‘The Right Stuff’ Canceled After One Season But Warner Bros. TV Shopping Series Around

“The Right Stuff,” Nat Geo’s adaptation of Tom Wolfe’s 1979 nonfiction book of the same name, just didn’t have the, well, right stuff for Disney Plus. The series is not moving forward at the Disney streaming service, but Warner Bros. Television is looking for a new home for the Patrick J. Adams series.

Manifest Officially Canceled After Netflix Passes on the Sci-Fi Drama

Following the surprise cancellation of NBC’s Manifest and week-long search for its potential new home, Deadline brings word that creator Jeff Rake’s popular sci-fi drama is officially no longer moving forward. Despite the first two seasons receiving a positive response on the streamer, Netflix has ultimately decided not to pick up Manifest for a fourth season renewal. This is heartbreaking news to fans who have been invested in the passengers of Montego Air Flight 828, especially when the third and final season ended with a cliffhanger and tons of unanswered questions.

Not sure if there's a fan of SEAL Team here...but seems bitin yun ending ng Season 4 sa CBS. Speculations are that SEAL Team will now be airing in Paramount if ever there will be a Season 5.

This is why I am very slow in watching series. Most of the time, I try to find out first if there will still be a continuation to the story before starting the first season. I hate it when you invest so much time in a series only to have it cancelled later on without any proper resolution or closure.

same here never been a fan of TV series, the time & patience for the wait. But I never regret one bit following Game Of Thrones, there was never a dull moment except the ending but at least it kept its promise for an end w/ 8 seasons.

‘Good Girls’ Canceled After Four Seasons at NBC

“Good Girls” has been canceled after four seasons at NBC, Variety has learned.

The drama series was the last remaining question mark in NBC’s scripted lineup from the 2020-2021 season. The broadcaster also recently axed the dramas “Manifest,” “Debris,” and “Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist.” Like “Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist” and “Manifest,” there had been talks about finding “Good Girls” a new home on a streaming platform, but that move ultimately did not work financially.

‘Lovecraft Country’ Will Not Return for Season 2 at HBO

“Lovecraft Country” is not being renewed for a second season at HBO, Variety has confirmed.

“We will not be moving forward with a second season of ‘Lovecraft Country,'” HBO said in a statement. “We are grateful for the dedication and artistry of the gifted cast and crew, and to Misha Green, who crafted this groundbreaking series. And to the fans, thank you for joining us on this journey.”

The series debuted its first — and now only — season in August 2020.

‘Cursed’ Canceled By Netflix After One Season

There will be no second season for Cursed. Netflix quietly has canceled the fantasy series, which is based on a key character from the King Arthur legend, after one season, I have learned. The cast has been released to pursue other opportunities.

Based on Frank Miller and Tom Wheeler’s illustrated book, Cursed was a re-imagining of the Arthurian legend as told through the eyes of the young woman, played by Katherine Langford, who would become the Lady of the Lake.

‘Y: The Last Man’ Canceled by FX

“Y: The Last Man” has been canceled by FX, weeks before its first season debuts its final episode on FX on Hulu.

The news was shared by “Y: The Last Man” showrunner Eliza Clark through her Twitter on Sunday. In her post, Clark thanks FX and the show’s creative team for their partnership on the project. She also expresses hope that “Y: The Last Man” will be able to continue its run at a different network.

“We have learned that we will not be moving forward with FX on Hulu for Season 2 of ‘Y: The Last Man.’ I have never in my life been more committed to a story, and there is so much more left to tell,” Clark wrote. “‘We had a gender diverse team of brilliant artists, led by women at almost every corner of our production… It is the most collaborative, creatively fulfilling and beautiful thing I have ever been a part of. We don’t want it to end.”
