There are a number of record cleaners available out there but for the ultimate scrub down nothing beats the Loricraft PRC-4. This is pushing it to the extreme but it all depends on how clean you want it to be. I have been using my VPI 16.5 since 2002 and I have to say that I have no complaints. I do have some records that my trusty VPI could not quiet. These I thought were just hopeless and I all but gave up on. As luck may have it, a close friend of mine decided to go overboard and purchase a Loricraft. With the highest suction force per square inch, The Loricraft PRC-4 made the few remaining LPs I gave up on listenable and quiet again.
