So, we now have NBA Premium for free, here in our condo.

nbc Destiny also promised us free NBA Premium installation in our condo. But to this day, they still haven't come around to fix it. As of this morning, I can see that there's a game on TV, but the picture and sound are all noisy and unwatchable.

From my discussion with their CSR, installation of NBA Premium in condos are free, but we will still be charged P150 a month for it.

Semi OT: I was at my parents house this morning and I couldn't find BTV on their TV (SkyCable). Any idea what channel it's on?

Well , no matter... I am okay with having it.

Last night, the picture still wasn't clear... and the sound was very sibilant (puro "sssss" sa dulo nang mga sentences nung announcers...)

But this morning, video and audio were crystal clear.

Exactly what I was wondering. If this were a perfect world, Destiny would give it to us for free since they're the ones who insisted on being the exclusive cable provider for our building. But I didn't force the issue since I got the feeling that the person I was talking to didn't have all the information anyway. We'll know for sure once we get our next billing statement.

Might I ask where your condo is located via here or DM? Just want to get an idea when we'll get hooked up. Even though my favorite team has been eliminated, it would still be nice to actually see the rest of the season.

Finally got NBA Premium after 3 weeks of calling Destiny. It would have sucked less if my favorite team wasn't eliminated this morning, but bygones.

I'll let you know if our cable bill increases as a result of this.

bakit parang nag iba yung aspect ratio ng nba premium? hindi na kita yung log, parehas yung ratio ng mga pinapalabas sa studio23. dati 16:9 ang default eh. ganun din ba sa inyo?

ngpixelize ba un nba premium niyo? sa akin ng pixelize eh.. at ang labo.. kpag tinatangal ko sa splitter direcho sa cable box ok nman.. badtrip! kailngan pa lipat para lang manood ng nba premium...

napansin ko yung paiba-iba ng aspect ratio nung bumalik yung signal a day after mawala nung hapon ng may 8. before nun naka 16:9 naman lahat ng napanuod ko.

nag pi-pixelize din yung sakin especially pag "fast scenes" (e.g. fastbreaks) may stutter/lag pa. lol mukhang tiis tiis na lang muna dito sa destiny hanggang maging fully digital na yung service nila.

btw, isa pang gripe ko dito sa destiny eh sobrang hirap nila ma-contact! madalas busy yung line or nag ri-ring nga yung phone wala naman sumasagot.

sa akin ngpixelize khit commercial.. parang humina un signal bigla nun malakas un ulan last week.. oo nga eh, mhirap sila macontact.. usually tumatawag ako mga 1-2 pm after lunch para sure na may sasagot.

native aspect ratio ng nba premium is 4:3 . . . pag set mo sa 16:9 stretch graphics.
kaya sa default na lang ako.

Got the NBA premium channel during the playoffs and the tech who installed my unit is claiming that it has free ppv for Pacman fights. It's "currently bundled" with NBA premium as promo and they had quite a h#ll of a time last May as demand was very high for the Pacman vs Mosley fight.

There are two channels in the digibox. One for NBA and the other is labelled PPV. For Pacman's next fight I only need to switch channels to enjoy free PPV. Of course, I have no way of verifying this claim hence this post.

Can somebody share their experience? For me, I have to see to believe unless somebody here can validate the claim.

thats how its suppose to work but nawawala yung signal. During the pacquiao-mosley fight, i was getting the signal then nawala when the pacquiao fight was about to start.

Terrible service. Ill demand a refund!

Sorry to hear about your experience. So far their NBA feed have reliable for me. The PPV is a welcome plus of course but I just hope I will be able to enjoy come Pacman's upcoming fight.
