Based on what Vic of SnS told me, after i bought my pair may 10 pa siya inorder. So, kung ubos na, there are just 12 pairs of Dentons sold so far, kasama na yung kay idol Superman. . .

Ibig sabihin madaming silent tirador ng Dentons dito. . . :-p

You get so much more than you paid for. These dentons can beat more expensive speakers. I am very impressed. No, very very impressed, so are my friends who happen to hear 'em.

looking for BS below 20K to be matched with HK 3490.  in my list are PSB B6, Epos Epic 2 and WH Denton, will be used for movies as 2.1 set up and for music 2 channel.  Prefers warm and round sound.  i used to have WH Amber FS and medyo nakukulangan ako sa high.

I know it's better to audition but any input will be greatly appreciated.  it's ok to be biased towards Denton as long as explained very well.  TIA.

No explaination needed sir luis. Get the dentons. Period. :)
£500 SRP nya abroad, so ka level nya halos cm1 and the likes.
B&W 685 is £380 overseas. That's how cheap the dentons here in our shores. We are very very very lucky.

So good that i'm getting another pair. Reserba. :)

This can help/confuse you:

http://www.stereophile.com/content/2012-recommended-components-loudspeakers

The Epos Epic 2 is in the Class C category in the list. Scroll down to see it. The classification takes SQ in high regard across categories but grades the speakers in terms of completeness of the low freqs. Class A is full range. Class C has less low end and so on.

Of course consider the speaker in relation to your equipment.

What about the Jade 1 or 3? I think you might wanna consider that. Its still in the 20k-ish category.

Medyo manipis sound ng HK amps, so you would be better off getting speakers on the warm side or something with a bit more bass.

Epic 2 is nice pero found it lacking in bass.  Better balanced and better sounding yung Elan 15. Yung mga lower end Wharrfedales medyo ngongo ng konti.  The Jade and Dentons have nice crisp treble w/o being harsh. Between the 2 brothers, I give the Denton the edge over the Jade.  PSB i find medyo neutral, so it may not fit the bill for warm sound.

Well, siyempre nasa Denton thread ka, so you know where this is going . . . :-p

Torn between getting the Dentons or actually blind buying the Jade 3. Walang pang demo si sir Vic pa eh.

Bro. Anton, post mo na ung Denton mo. :D

After 50+ hours of listening here is my newbie opinion (wala pang 1 year sa audio hobby ;D): the strength of these speakers is the details, very good mids, excels in jazz, vocal jazz & classical though I listened a couple of times to Alice in Chains MTV Unplugged and I clearly heard Jerry Cantrell's fingers sliding on the fretboard & the vibration of plucked strings. The rolled off highs won't give you any screech at all as evident when I listened to Miles Davis' "All Blues". The bass is tight but just can't quite keep up with the bass drops on James Blake's "Limit to your Love", it is understandable given the size of these bookshelf speakers.

Did I mention anything about the build quality? One word: Superb! It will annihilate all competition at this price point...Bottom line is, I'm very very pleased & I think this one is for keeps  ;)

Note: I use these in my small studio via MBP>Audirvana Plus>JDS Labs ODAC>Canare RCA>Arcam A65+>QED speaker wires.

Now, pektyur pektyur  8)

I agree brader, i'm driving it with rotel rb1080.
Jaw dropping details, excellent mids, very ample bass.
With the aid of my tannoy ts10 sub? Nothing i could ask for.
I could live with the dentons for years......many years....excellent speakers. The price and build quality is amazing.
