the Mercury is good however if you can source out a Revolution Model then that is the one for keeps.

Mercury M2 is an old model, older than the Fusion 2 which replaced it back in 2008. Unless new old stock siya, you can possibly bargain for a lower price.

Agree with the Revolution series. . .

Thanks for the comments! Nabili ko na siya for 6,500php. Near Mint Condition pa naman siya. Tingin ko din mahal kaso na attract ako talaga nung makita ko to. Hehehe... Thank you sa lahat ng nag comment and suggest!

Yes Sir! Okey na... Nakukulanagn lang ako sa lakas pa... Hahahaha! Baka pag nagkabudget eh bumili ulit ako ng another pair of speaker.

patay tayo nito active na naman ang Tannoy sa market. i have a lot of good memories with Tannoy.

- my first HT was the Mercury MX series (in davao 2006)
- my first 2 channel set-up was tannoy fusion 3 mated with SR Heac-07 (in davao 2008)
- my 2nd HT was tannoy Fusion series (in QC 2010)
- bought a second pair of F3 in 2010 sold it in 2011 (in QC), the buyer auditioned it and nang hinayang ako, nakakamis yung tunog.
- right now i still have the fusion series (3,2 and C) for my HT
- trying PSB imagine b for my 2 channel set-up. sabi ng anak ko kagabi, parang Tannoy yung tumutunog (patay)

I also have the M2 which I acquired in Singapore way back in 1998 pa pala ito. Still sounds great (it's in my mom's house now) and can go head to head with my Dynaudio Audience 52's and Focal Chorus 806V. Pair it well with powerful amps though and good, revealing source like a good quality CD player. This speakers helped me get started on the hi-fi route and never ceased to amaze me. It was the award-winning speakers (in What Hi-Fi) during its time.

Agree!!! Ganda talaga ng tunog. Kahit na bookshelf type lang eh ganda pa din.

I checked out the mercury v1 and the center, vc. They sound great. I want to put these in my living room for secondary setup. I'm still looking around for other brands that are in these price range, but so far these tannoys sound really good for me.
