what do you think of the B&W CDM 1NT speakers. I am planning to upgrade my front speakers and this is what my brother recommended to me. I want something for audio as well as video since my old speaker are a JBL HTB.

Man you are on the right track! Well to tell you honestly, I have auditioned the CDM1NT and it is a damn good speaker for music! For the price very hard to beat and looks good too! I would have a slight reservation if you will be using this as a main speaker for HT! Unless your room is fairly small and you will use a subwoofer, go ahead it may not sound as bad (lacks low frequency I meant) but I would honestly recommend floor standers for the main speakers for HT but that's just me, im sure you can get away with the bass by using a subwoofer. Whichever way, you are getting a very good speaker. Hope this helps..

my room is small so i'll just stick to these bokshelf speakers. I already have a subwoofer so that's where the LF would be outputted.

   Yes for a pair na yan.. Pag hindi mas mahal na sa Nautilus 805 which is at P68k. Good choice yan CDM1NT for HT and audio. Goodluck!

reviving this thread....guys, would you know how much these speakers go for now, at pre-owned prices? i have seen some pairs go for around $600 at ebay, and the auction hasn't even finished yet. any info will be greatly appreciated...thanks!

Where did you see a pair of CDM1NT for P42,000?I'm looking for a pair also.I think this model is
a streophile classB.I'm planning to change my quad speakers to Epos M12.2 or the CDM1NT.
