Topic: where to buy hard-to-find movies in the Phils?

i am so new to this forum. i was referred here from Girltalk because this is the forum where my question could best be answered. i'm a collector of movies. mahilig ako pumunta sa video stores at naghahanap ng original VCDs (can't afford DVDs).

there are lots of movies on my must-see list, but some of them are old, some are very old, some are not-really-mainstream so medyo mahirap hanapin.

do you know any video stores na hindi run-off-the-mill like Odyssey and Astro Vision? i mean, yung video stores that offer hard-to-find movies? ok na kahit DVDs...

i know that online shopping is a good option, pero i want to know if there are local video stores that offer hard-to-find movies na wala sa Astro Vision, etc.

I think Astro or Odyssey are still the most convenient brick & mortar video stores with the widest selection of titles. However, if you are open to online shopping, your best option is the Marketplace Section right here at PinoyDVD. Check out the selling sections for VCDs & DVDs. I noticed a number of Sellers here (including myself, hehehe)  have hard-to-find titles for sale. I also think most of the selling prices here for VCDs & DVDs are very reasonable; sometimes even lower than prices in Astro or Odyssey.

If you're looking for really old Filipino movies like circa 80's-90s try Video 48 located at West Avenue. It really is a film buffs paradise. Marami dun old titles mga Brocka etc..
