Cya nga pala, one of the most dramatic changes was when I removed the granite plinths under the speakers. Dati when the speakers were on the plinths, di masyado clearcut imaging. Meron pero I felt may kulang. Kung ano ano na ginawa ko. Lahat ng components pinag isipan ko na ng masama. Haha. Yung plinths lang pala kelangan alisin. Mas gusto ata ng speakers ko spikes lang on carpet. Pero nilagyan ko pa rin spike shoes.

You can use the granite slabs to flatten the lp. Iwan mo for a week or two on room temp na naka-sandwich in 2 lp jacket sized granite slabs. Basta wag mo tatangalin sa lp jacket nya. It will lessen to a degree na playable na yung lp and safe sa cart na.

Kasi mahirap maghanap ng champagne gold kaya iwas gastos. hehe. Gusto ko tama lang. Di masyadong tisay at di masyadong itim. golden kung baga.

It's not a hum actually. More of tube rush. Does not change even if you change the volume. Try ko isolate over the weekend. Tingin ko kasi talaga it's the tubes of the preamp. Not audible from listening position.

its normal i guess bro atty with pre tube, since i experience the same. you're right,its not audible from the listening position not unless you place your ear near the speakers.

Sana mawala yung noise. Medyo kya ko na yang the bay kht 7meter pair.:) gusto ko Sana yung mkiii kya lang di kaya ng puso  ko yung presyo eh.  yung saken atty, I'm using a lux3032 with 5 ecc83 & 2 ecc82, walng noise pag zero volume. Pag kabit ko nung tube  cdp, wala pa din. Nung tube phono pre, Ayun na.

Subukan ninyo Cal's IC..... I am using 35 ft approx 10meters ... Tahimik naman.  Normal yung tube hiss basta wag lang hum.
