If i were to borrow the words of Ludwig Van Beethoven, i would agree that "music is the mediator between the spiritual and sensual life." It heals the mind, refreshes our thoughts and inspire the soul. They also say that music is the universal language of man and i believe this is the reason why we are
connected here as a group on this website in spite of the fact that we do not personally know each other.

As a beginner allow me therefore to present to you my humble audio set-up which i have been collecting since 2nd year college. At this point in time, i am only 20 years old and perhaps one of the youngest members of this group but i believe that no matter how young and old a person is, there is no such thing as age gap when it comes to music.

There was a time when I enjoyed stacking my speakers one on top of another. Its a nice view to look at. Suggestion: for serious listening, try to use one pair at a time, give yourself a week or two then change to the next pair. This will allow you to appreciate the flavor of each speaker, set up properly. and you will know your favorite pair.  I will bet the bottom speaker with the 15 inch woofer and horn will sound best for jazz. Itsura pa lang mukhang maraming tunog na lalabas dyan.  What amps are you using?

hi sir! i saw your set-up and i can say they are very impressive.. My favorite pair is the two way sansui SP-70 on top of the kenwood with the 16 inch woofer. as of now po i am using a sony receiver (STR-D615)..its a 5.1 receiver po,, not that good compared to high end audio receivers pero wala pa naman po siyang mintis.. it drives all the speakers at the same time.. Hopefully i can acquire a vintage quad/4 channel receiver one of these days po.. im sure a vintage receiver like a quadraphonic type will definitely improve the sound quality :)

thank you very much for the suggestions po and hope to hear more from you :)

sana nga po sir. madami pa po kulang, as of now im using a sony 5.1 receiver (STR-D615), although it sounds good, hindi pa naman punmapalya, i am convinced and im certain the sound quality delivered by my speakers could still be improved. hopefully i can get a quadraphonic/4 channel receiver one of these days..
