try a usb cable against a stock cable and compare the benefit. Before you decide to get a usb cable, now try a power cable against a stock one..... you might be surprised of the outcome....

If you invested on a good speaker Gie, bibitinin mo pa ba sa ibang gamit mo?
Saved so much on my amplifiers that I can spend a bit on other stuff....

The biggest improvements I got are from the highend cables tha Cal makes............

Para sa akin,  oo! Pero kung maka kuha ka ng gamit na hi end sounding for a low end cost, ito ang ang panalo! But in Sonny' s case, since he was able to acquire a 160K speaker and 70K dac, a 5K USB cable is definitely  a loose change!!

pag hi-end kasi expensive. not unless used. pero depende rin eh. branded din mostly ang gamit ko. it do make a big improvement. isa lang naman ang problema. pag nagsawa ka sa system mo, that's it. back to zero. isa lang ang totoo, don't listen to other's system. not unless ready kang gumastos.

During hifi shows I enjoy the music that I hear and convince myself that my system sounds as good kahit hindi  sabi nga nila... Its all in the mind

234 hours into break in and it has been fun. Heard the bass get bloated then disappeared, soundstage was all over the room. Then it tightened, but it also gave shrills on the highs afterwhich directionality went all over once more....
Now, it just sounds fantastic with everything in the right amount... But I still keep it on maybe until Christmas day. This is a gift for myself anyway for the past and this years christmas....

I love the w4s dac2, my system never sounded so good......

made me fall in love again with songs which previously started to bore me.... and is getting me interested in a lot of genres.
I sure hope someone can also get this dac and share my experience...

I believe that is true Joey.  I really wish we can try you buffalo dac with the w4s, it should be interesting. And to make it better, lets try your dac in my system then will try the w4s in yours....

it will make you wonder how and why an improvement as such is possible with power cables.....

now since I got back and installed the power cable, I have been listening to my music...
from Josh Groban's "you're still you", I feel more command on his voice and the violins in the background never sounded so sweet.
Chuck Mangione's "feel so good" gets more air, the drum cymbals soft and loud are so clear. it really feels so, so good...
almost any song in Andy McKee's Art of Motion album, you can enjoy the vibration coming the string from his guitar...
Toto's "geory porgy"... must be the Prat, the drums sound so natural and the organ as if it I can touch it...
and Chris Jones "long after you're gone" (one of my favorite and a staple in my system) just sounds so right.... with the bass guitar giving of a deep rich bass.
I do attribute the changes did come from both the dac and the synergy it gave to my system...

Monos + W4 sound dac  and as pre amp combo gives superb sonic presentation. I  believe adding an active linestage would enhance / improve more the over all character.

Thanks for the W4SOUND guys, Victor and Roland,  letting hear the dac, sotm and your server. 

The guys from w4s are pretty game and willing to home audition... They even joined us in fr. Jim's kubo in bulacan.... Thank you Victor and Roland, we hope to see and/or acquire your other products in the near future..... Huhuhu.
