hi guys im planning to buy a plasma tv this week, but still undecided. gusto ko yung 50" to 55". but need ba talaga yung 3d siya at Full HD? or pwede na ba yung hindi 3d at HD Ready lang? ang laki kasi ng price difference. I will use it for regular tv viewing lang naman. using satellite provider with HD channels.

Personnaly, id recommend the PANA 50VT30... Full HD 3D plasma unit...

for just watching tv and HD channels... i'll go for a Samsung UA46EH5000, a little less that your 50 inch requirement, but its full HD, tipid sa kuryente, and will cost you less than 40K since its non-3D.

Pag 42incher, ano ok for cable TV, DVD and BRay and possibly, media player since wala nang 42VT30? Am eyeing the LG4520 since 19k na lang...or mag LED na lang ako na 40inch? I find the Sammy Plasma 43incher a bit big...Pag 40"LED, options ko are Sony EX430, Tosh PS200 and Sammy EH5000.

If you have the budget go for the 50vt30. Best picture quality I've seen

I would recommend tosh 40pu200. Bang for the buck na yan 22-23k. May signal booster for cable viewing.

For 50" plasma. Pana 50vt30 is the best in its class. How much is your budget nga pala?

For its size its really a good deal but at that size I would suggest get a full HD set. Pixelated na kasi pag ganyan kalaki. Ano ba viewing distance m chief?

for 35k, its only the sammy 51e450. but if you want to future proof your aquisition, get the sammy e550 full hd 3D. may mga trade offs yan because you cannot get the best plasma for that price. backread ka ng posting ni barrister on why he settle yata for a sammy 51e550 over its panny counterparts. dont get lg plasma.

you are unlikely to find a 50 inch Full HD 3D plasma tv at 35k. maybe a 42 inch. (the Panasonic 42VT30) but if you're okay with a non-Full HD plasma, then I'd recommend the Samsung 51E450 or 51E490 (HD 3D).

depending on the shop, the Panasonic 50VT30 costs 62+k. if you could afford the Panasonic, go for it! it has deeper blacks and better picture quality. if not, the Samsung 51E550 is also a good buy.

check mo sa Listen Up, Glorietta. nakakita ako ng Panasonic 42ST30 last time bumisita ako dun. Full HD at 3D din yun.

Mura nung 42XT50 ah. Is it better than Samsung's? Habol ko kasi talaga sana dun sa VT30 is the frame design.

the Samsung 51E550 is still better. but it is cheaper than the comparable 43E490 HD 3D plasma tv of Samsung. (this model costs 30+k)

Actually, with Plasma you can watch from 5 feet away and hindi masakit sa mata, unlike LEDs na medyo you need a bit of distance. Also, if look at it, 42 vs 50 is not that big of a screen difference . . .
