ayaw gumna ng USb kapag portable HDD, " overcurrent" error daw, sabi sa ibang forums young iba naman working fine at yung iba gumagawana kapag yung HDD is may power adaptor pa. also may issue din ako sa lag ng sound when using external devices. ;( working naman sila ng maayos sa ut50 ko.
The handsomest and the happiest ;b

Panasonic's restructuring program is a success:

Panasonic makeover brings profit surge
from auto parts, homes divisions

By Sophie Knight and Reiji Murai
TOKYO Tue Feb 4, 2014 8:25am GMT

(Reuters) - Japan's Panasonic Corp (6752.T) said its quarterly earnings more than tripled, extending its renaissance as a maker of high-tech parts for cars and energy-efficient homes with few qualms about selling off legacy businesses that once dragged it into losses.

No more money to be made in mass-market consumer electronics.

Gusto ng market puro cheap, kahit low-quality.  Now we have what we asked for.

I'm glad I was able to buy a decent plasma tv (Samsung 51F5000) while they're still available.

That would be a miracle... They are trying to consolidate their business and remove non performing areas. Unfortunately Plasma is one to be removed. :(

yup. avoid entry-level models. LG's PN4500 series is quite good for an entry-level though. :)

Panasonic TX-P42GT60B Plasma Review

By Vincent Teoh   16 February 2014   Verdict: Reference Level   Typical price: £1200

This is the last Panasonic plasma we’ll ever review. ...

As a final farewell, we wanted to do a fitting tribute worthy of what has been a long heritage of TVs par excellence...

... we just don’t see any LED LCD outperforming the set’s insane black level, naturally high motion resolution and wide viewing angles in the future.

But the market has spoken, and the public overwhelmingly prefer the ultra-slim form factor, brighter picture and lower power consumption of LED LCD televisions.

OLED black levels are much better than plasma.

But OLED still has high failure rates in production at the factory, that's why prices remain too high.  Straight yield rates are at 10% (9 out of 10 are defective before repair); post-repair, yields increase to 30%.  Yield rate is still too low.

With factory failure rates like those, you wonder how long the unit will last after purchase.

based on the demos of OLED's I've seen, they don't look like Plasma at all - too clean - walang grains.  colors are much more striking too - parang LED at Dynamic mode.  but those are demos palang.
