hi eposman, what are those 2A3 and 300B amps? are they using the more common 2A3 and 300B tubes or the most sought after ones like the Western Electrics?

Hello edrel. The 2A3 amp is based on  the sun audio circuit. I am using sovtek 2a3's and NOS RCA 2A3's alternately. The 300B amp is the JE Labs 300B DX, and i am using Western Electric 300B's. Pero pag ayaw ko maubos kaagad, i use valve art 300B's lalo na kung pang background lang.

would you happen to know those great guys at JE labs joseph and his pal joel? taga dyan din si joel sa may malapit sa "entertainment center" sa quezon ave..have made many irons for them mainly for hi-fi show projects and for their friends.

Joel went to my house once. Nakita nga nya yung 300B na design ni Joseph. I was not able to meet Joseph when he visited us before, sayang. I doubt if we have met before, but i do know that you make excellent transformers, yung tipong pwedeng ilaban sa Tango at Tamura! I do hope we can meet soon.

ah ok so that means you are not a regular visitor at the hi-fi shows. andun naman kami halos yearly. well anyway i hope we can have some diyers get together soon. dyan kami nagmeet nina joel sa banawe corner quezon ave. my brother also lives nearby but i am already settled near the cavite economic zone. if you are in need of any irons let me know kahit choke lng and power transformer. thanks.
