Topic: Koss headphones for repair - SOLVED

can anyone point me to a place where i can have my Koss Porta Pro fixed? the left side lost its sound. the right side is ok. i suspect that it's the wire but even if i move the wire around, no sound is produced. i opened to check if the wire is disconnected. it was still soldered.

i know koss offers a lifetime warranty but i think you have to send it to the US and that will be difficult.

i found the local distributor, AVESCO. they also own 5th Ave., where i bought my koss. i brought my original receipt and they honored the lifetime warranty on parts. they however charged me 400 pesos for the labor. not too bad. my favorite headphones are now back in action!
