Hi Guys,

Which one do you think is better? Reliability and support wise..

MSI - Cheaper and has better Graphics Card - Reliability?
Asus - 3k More expensive, Lamang lang konti sa HDD, Lower Graphics Card

Will be using as Music Source connected to Rega DAC
Will be using as HTPC pag tinatamad ako mag transfer sa NMT
A little gaming here and there pag tinatamad sa Playstation 3

may stock na ba ang CX61? may nabasa ako sa tipid na mas ok daw ang msi kaya yan na rin ang pinapabili ko sa boss ko kaso di pa nabibili

I have not checked kung may stocks na... Maganda kasi specs eh kaso problem ko lang with MSI is reliability..

Di na kaya budget yan... Max budget is 39k he he he

Meron din ako nakita nag bebenta ng Ideapad Y400 na same specs nyan tapos SLI ready pa.. Same din ang price kaso alang warranty..

Di pwede lumampas ng 39k or else magugulpi pag nagkataon ha ha ha

try the msi ge60 onc...same price as the cx61..i5 but have more features and better performance than the cx61

kung pihikan ka sa build quality, go for the Asus. if you don't mind the "lesser" build quality and prioritize specs, go for the MSI. (it has a better gpu!)

eto nga pala ang side-by-side pic ng MSI GE620DX ko (old model but same chassis as the CX61) at ng Asus K55VJ (old model version of the K55VJ with weaker GT610 gpu):

whichever laptop you choose, you won't go wrong with either.

Paglaruan ko muna mabuti itong 8 bago ako bumili.. DI ko lang alam kung hanggang kelan ko magagamit ito...

I have not tested the battery life yet, di ko kasi kinakabit ang battery yet... connected lang sya sa ups since im using it as a player... But will test and will let you know..

ok sir..wait ko lang po..the same rin kasi unit ko as yours..bought it brandnew, 2weeks pa lng sakin..ung battery ko only last up to 2hrs lang po in normal usage..unlike the one that is advertised that will last 4-5hours..wait ko lang po ung battery test mo sir..thanks!

browsing only lang sir..that's why nga nag tataka ako..nasa balanced mode din settings ko at 30-50% lng ung brightness ng screen.. is that normal sir? or is there something wrong with my battery? ask lng po ako baka my idea po kayo..thanks

Tested the battery and it lasted for about 2 1/2 hrs. This includes watching one episode of Walking dead, about 15 minutes of Battlefield Gaming and the rest is surfing/watching videos on You tube. My battery is at 20% after doing the above things.. Not bad considering a powerful i7 cpu, a large screen and a dedicated GPU.. My brightness nga pala si at 60%..

nasa balanced mode sir? or power saver? at tanong ko sir if your charger meron din sound like buzzing noise sa loob na konti lang at first then medyo lumalakas nang konti until na ma fully charge na ung battery pag na plugged-in mo?.. i observed kasi yan sa charger ko,at na try ko ipinacheck sa binilhan ko,at sabi nila normal lang daw yun? at natanong ko rin sa ibang shop,at sabi nla hindi daw normal..confused po ako kung saan ang tama..ask at confirm ko lng sana if the same rin po sa inyo? try nyo lng po observe sir if you have time to..thanks

I'm at Power4gear High Performance bro.... wala akong nadidinig na buzzing sound sa power brick bro... Unit inlcuding the chrager/power supply is very silent... Pa check mong mabuti yan...
