Cignal is Dealer dependent unlike Sky na Company owned dispatch.

Customer Service is Sky

Maayos CS sa sky pero minsan kapag kausap mo ung assign concierge hindi mo makausap ng maayos kasi nasa labas ng office or what at mag promise ng call back. pagkatapos ng isang oras tumawag ulit pero tapos na lahat ng concern ko.

From destiny cable, nag switch ako sa Cignal dahil sa NBA Premium, Fox sports channel lalo na yung Fox3HD dahil madalas pinanunuod namin Motogp and F1.

F1 in fox 3 hd? Are you sure? Alam ko f1 live races are only available in fox sports hd 1.

I think you are talking about CART racing sa america definitely not f1 live race. Baka f1 live practice sessions. Yun practice sessions alam ko meron ata sa fox sports 3hd.

Yup depends what you like. For a sports fanatic like me, it is sky cable all the way especially sa hd.
Sa sky meron nfl, all the tennis atp tours and grand slams, mlb baseball, uaap basketball phils, f1 live races, mga soccer matches, nba basketball, ufc fighting, volleyball, wrestling, ncaa college basketball and football, etc. These are all in hd. I will pay premium for these. Parang nasa america ka na sa palabas.

Yun mga movie channels pa ulit ulit lang yan. Pang sleep mode lang to watch these para madali to turn off lang yun tv pag sleepy na. Yun Movies puro na available sa downloads. For cable other than sports, I like varieties like comedy central, national geographic, discovery, disney, crime and investigation. Hd din.

What sports does cignal offer in hd? Nba lang ba? Nba and wrestling? Not even close compared to sky.

Just my opinion.

I had Sky dual def in my previous residence but when we transferred to a new townhouse I had no choice but to get Cignal. I tried to transfer my Sky subscription but even though they have the facility in my new area they said that their signal will be too weak and I would just end up complaining. My unit is the last (14th) unit from the street and the embedded cable provided by the developer is not up to Sky's standard. I like Sky because you can add and delete channels that are not part of your plan by a simple phone call. And of course there's Cignal losing signal whenever it rains.

You have a point.........and if I may, I'd like to add something na rin.

F1 is mostly Fox Sports 1 (though pa-minsan it's also aired on Fox Sports 2......tulad ng USGP). MotoGP can be aired on either of the three........pero the last few races were aired on Fox Sports 3.

In any case, kung habol ay Rugby or Association Football, then Sky Cable has that answer. Setanta Sports and BeIN Sport lineup are currently exclusively to Sky Cable sa ngayon.

add ko na rin mas malinaw and sharp ang image ng skycable as compared sa cignal
mas gusto ko rin ang channel lineup ng sky kesa cignal
siguro nasanay din ako sa sky kasi ito cable ko for more than 10 years before ako nagkaroon ng cignal

Yes yun area namin nag repair ata ng main line sa labas. Bigla kasi very sharp yun sky cable ko hehe. I have compared it with cignal when i was in batangas. For me sharper nga ang sky. Compared both on 32 inch tv.

Yes ayaw ko yun logo ng cignal. What i like about cignal is the response of the remote when channel changing. Ang bilis talaga unlike sky ang bagal talaga. Ka bad trip din. Sana sky do something about it.

On some channels, the Cignal logo is irritating (e.g. like sa Animax).

Here's another good point for Sky:
For those with TVs and displays that can output 1080p, they would be glad to know that the newer Verimatrix STBs support 1080p.

Im talking about doing channel arrow up and arrow down. Ang bagal talaga. Sa cignal it is so fast. I mean sa cignal i can press up 5 channels tuloy tuloy and in one or two second that 5th channel i want will appear agad. Sa sky you do the same thing it will hang a little. I mean i dont like naman to do that to my tv pero gulat ako ganun ka responsive ang cignal.

Planning on changing our cable tv subscription, still on destiny cable(w/o digibox). Thinking of switching to Cignal or Sky or stay with Destiny(with digibox). I'm still in the process of reviewing their channel line up. Plus I got this flyers na nakaipit sa pinto namin from Sky kaya I decided na magtingin na din ng first hand review and experience dito.

Quick question lang(as I still didn't check their channel line ups), may NHK, Arirang, Channel M, YTN World ba both sa Sky or sa Cignal? as these channels were mostly watched aside from the usual sports, fox, Universal channel, etc, 2nd avenue and jack. would like to know also if these were on their list, most likely...baka sa Sky?

Ok i repeated the speed torture channel change on my sky cable hehe. It is the same lang pala sa cignal. Sky is also fast and responsive.

Cignal may be a little faster by couple seconds

wow! Thanks for the detailed comparison sir blackcyborg. I will check first with friends who have a Cignal subscription. I'm still with destiny but their agent is asking me if I want to avail their HD channels. I will also look for Destiny's chennel listing and compare it with Cignal and Sky. Right now, I feel that I'm still ok with sd broadcast, but part of me want to see and try some HD channels. That's why I'm looking now to upgrade with either of them.

nabasa ko sa websyt ng cignal meron silang 290/490 entry? parang interested ako sa 490.. since may cnn..

yung sky.. hindi ko maintindihan yung websyt parang puros bundle kit sinasabi

alin po ba mas sulit? dad ko lang naman nanunuod ng tv.. and he just wants clear cnn.. destiny kami ngayon.. sobrang labo.. years na ko nagiisip lumipat.. kayalang wala kasi cable box sa destiny kaya naiwan.. thanks
