JBL studio 580
« on: May 06, 2013 at 12:27 AM »
has anybody already heard the JBL studio 580 speakers?
these are low priced EVEREST models as they claim.
i heard the smaller versions and im actually impressed even with only a harman kardon receiver driving them.

They sound very nice, although you would need a big room to appreciate them more. These speakers were designed by Greg Timbers, who also did the everest and project array series which explains why there are similarities sound wise.

Try visiting the jbl sound gallery in bonifacio high street. If you are lucky you can compare them with the array 1400s (I like these but they occupy a lot of space).

I've heard the Studio 570 (smaller version of the 580) and they sound really good!  :)

yes, im sure this speaker models would get a lot of attention very soon.
the sound quality is indeed more than what you pay for......and you dont need a beefy amp to get them sound their best.
