was browsing through my Sky Guide and I saw Justice League of America is slated for screening this month. is this a movie of the cartoon and comic?

Not bad--nice of them to make good use of Darkseid and a lot of Jack Kirby's characters--he's one of the great ones, after all. Oh, and as usual, the guy without the superpowers upstages the one who has...

I agree. It would be nice for DC to make a Justice League movie (direct to DVD would be great) catering to mature viewers. Sorta like the Ultimate Avengers DVD. I'd like to see an anime artist do the artwork, though.

The show will air its final episode (it's been cancelled) in the USA on May 13. It will be replaced by a Legion of Super Heroes series this September.

if they follow the comic book ... this should be set in the future, with teenage super heroes from different planets as its members (http://members.shaw.ca/legion_roll_call/)

this was a favorite of mine in my youth. (tagal na 'yun. lol.)... and they have the most imaginative names too *inset sarcasm here*

yup, he's there, but it appears there are current legal issues involving the character, so he could be written out in future episodes.

The Legion of Super Heroes is a group of teenaged heroes in the 31st Century. Confirmed regular Legionnaires to appear: Superboy, Lightning Lad, Saturn Girl, Cosmic Boy, Bouncing Boy, Brainiac 5, Phantom Girl, Timber Wolf, Triplicate Girl.

Cosmic Boy is voiced by Wil Wheaton, former child actor (Stand By Me, Star Trek: The Next Generation)

nice... eh si supergirl kaya? nice to know they're using triplicate girl and not duo damsel. (always did prefer her as a trio than a duo.)

just curious... will this TV incarnation have the old rule na "no duplicate powers in the roll call"??

used to love dawnstar. is she still around? who remembers the last eclipse of sunboy story? loved the legion specially when paul levitz wrote it and keith giffen drew it.
