Mismo my punto sir.  Sabi ko nga, bago natin husgahan si Kobe e let's wait for his career to end.  Malay mo, baka magbago naman yun mama.  Tulad ni MJ, he might temper his attitude.  Who knows he might also evolve into a more team first style as he has proven in his last few games,  Tumi triple double na nga yun lolo nyo di ba?  Napilay lang nga :(

what made MJ and Kobe difficult teammates to begin with are part and parcel of what also made them great in the first place...kaya nga magaling si Phil Jackson kasi he managed these traits not to be divisive enough to the team......hinde naman dahil sa LBJ hater but you have to wonder why PJ passed up on the chance to coach Lebron way back nun sa Cleveland, remember Lebron was campaigning hard for PJ to come to the Cavs, the roster was decent enough and I'm very sure he could have molded the final roster to his liking, but he passed and went back for a second tour of duty with the Lakers >:D

New season....hooray!

Clippers should ship out DJordan...the guy makes too much money while offering very limited production on court. They got duped when they signed him to a new contract. Great addition of Rivers...just one of the very few active coaches who has been to the summit of the NBA. That move will convince Chris Paul to sign up.

Miami just need one good BIG man to accomplish a rare 3peat.
I think they should keep its core like Battier, Allen, Miller Cole, Chalmers, Haslem, Anderson.
Let go Lewis and trade him for a veteran center.

2013 playoffs (especially finals) showed how important shooters are.. That moved by heat last year on getting allen really paid off, ang sakit lalo na kay KG ung ginawa nya sa game 6.. Hehe..  Malamang magiging mabenta mga Shooters this offseason, lalo na those who can move well without the ball and those catch and shoot type of players.. I read clips is eyeing granger, nice..
The Pats way...

Good read right there.

That's why I said he was too competitive for a teammate.  Normal ito in NBA practices.  Even sa Boston Celtics.  Bird and McHale got into a tussle during practice.  But the difference is.... all these were kept indoors though.  With Kobe kasi, pinapahiya niya teammates nya in public...sa media.  Sa mga press conference pa niya ginagawa.  Like they say, don't air your dirty laundry in public. Sa NBA TV Kerr told that story about his confrontation with MJ.  But he stressed, no one told about that in media.  Dapat sa kanikanila lang.

Buti sana if everybody is like Gasol na tumatahimik lang.  Mas madalas umaangal.  Si Odom bumabawi and said how can you expect to win when one person takes all the shots. Si Artest nagsasalita rin.  Si Bynum said if you are a big man and Kobe is your teammate, you don't develop your game.  And this past season, si Howard....too many to mention but one of them is that he should suck his injury up and play.

There really is a stark difference.  Malayo talaga ang difference sa approach.

I tend to agree with you guys but there were also reports that MJ wasn't necessarily the model teammate.  Had to look for this article that came out in 2010, as usual in bleacherreport ( although i'd say half of the articles there are "chismis" )

MJ WAS (NOT) A GREAT TEAMMATE

Common perception is that Michael Jordan was the model teammate.  It will tell you that he excelled at building his teammates up and bringing out the best in those around him.  Nothing could be further from the truth.

One incident has Michael Jordan riding Bill Cartwright on a particularly bad night for Cartwright.

In the locker room Michael Jordan resorted to trying to embarrass Cartwright in front of the team.  He was offensive to the point that afterward, Cartwright pulled him to the side and said

"Look, if you ever do anything like that again, you will never play basketball again because I will break both of your legs."

You probably never heard about that though, because MJ can do no wrong.

Another incident includes an actual physical confrontation with a teammate.  The Bulls were in practice when Will Perdue laid a hard screen on Jordan.  Imagine someone playing hard in practice!

This did not sit well with His Airness.  He was infuriated to the point where he felt it necessary to punch Purdue in the face.  Yes, you read right.  To PUNCH HIM IN THE FACE.

Imagine if you will, an article comes out tomorrow that features a story about Kobe Bryant punching Pau Gasol in the face because he set too hard of a screen at practice.

Imagine LeBron James punching one of his nice guy teammates in the face like say, Zydrunas Ilgauskas.  Imagine what the initial reaction and backlash would be if this happened once...now multiply it

Not only did Jordan get physical with Will Perdue, he also felt the need to punch Steve Kerr in the face!  Jordan and Kerr were known to have two different opinions on the Collective Bargaining Agreement that was being voted on.

Kerr was a Players Union leader while Michael wanted to dissolve the Union.   They had many heated discussions about the subject.  One day during a practice, Steve Kerr was guarding Jordan.

Kerr was reportedly playing tough defense on Jordan-  too tough for Jordan's liking.  So much so, that he felt the irresistible urge to punch Steve in the face.  And he followed through with it.

A Model citizen indeed.  Not once, but twice did he feel that it was excusable to physically attack his TEAMMATES.

You can imagine the reaction to anyone that was considered the face of the league today (Kobe, LeBron, Durant) attacking their teammates.  Everyone would have a field day crucifying them.  But not so for His Airness...  his reputation gets a pass.

[/i]

But yeah, I looked up to MJ as the perfect leader during his time.  As for Kobe, who knows, di pa naman tapos ang career.  Baka this injury did him more good than harm.  Baka maisip nya in the silence of his boredom, "hey I gotta go out with the class of a legend".. Baka naman magbago at maging ultimate leader na din si Kobe in his last run for that elusive 6th ring ;D

Lewis has zero trade value. Ok maybe you can trade him for a bag of chips, a soda and maybe even some change

Si bosh na lang ang trade ng heat. Then sign the birdman for a season para maging aggressive pa rin ang game niya. tapos kuha pa ng isa pang big man ang Miami.

I just learned that Kerr fracas when I read the article again.  Never heard of that.  So mabuti na lang si Jordan ang gumawa nun.  As I said, we are kind to Jordan.  We will always justify that he is right.

Isipin mo kung ngayon nangyari yan halimbawa kay Kobe, and the news will be "Kobe gut punched Jodie Meeks" or kay Lebron = "Lebron punched Chalmers", with all the social media available, yari na naman sa media at sa haters yan dalawang kumag na yan ;D ;D

Speaking of the meek devil ;D,

pwede. Pero kelangan ng tamang coach for someone with Rondo's temperament. D'antoni won't be able to control Rondo. Aayaw si D'antoni jan kasi hindi din shooter si Rondo.

Bad combination nga yan Rondo-Kobe.  Both need the ball to be effective.  Rondo is most effective when he holds on to the ball and just passes the ball when the other player is about to shoot it.

Si Kobe prefers isolation plays.  Eh si Rondo unlike Nash doesn't have a jumper.  So forget about those Kerr/Paxson roles. Eh si Rondo is one assist hungry player.  Hindi rin naman papayag si Rondo na ibibigay lang yun bola to Kobe for ISOs or in the post.  Walang assist sa ganun.   ;D

dapat kasi hindi na nila kinuha si Howard, mas ok pa yata si Bynum e. Nash-Kobe-MWP-Pau-Bynum na lang sana. problema lang dala ni Howard sa Lakers.
