Ang alam ko lang meron naman mga nagbebenta saka built to last naman ang SL1200. Hintayin natin mga TT gurus magreply.

Thanks sir.

@deist, one thing I failed to consider a few years back when I went back to Analogue was that that sweet sound of vinyl makes me relax then fall asleep. I chose a Manual TT then, and when I fall asleep I am awakened by the sound of the stylus scratching the vinyl record.

Eventually I moved to an automatic system to avoid damaging more records. Luckily I came across a Vintage Benjamin Miracord Elac 50 that was automatic. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the tip sir.

Yan din gusto ko sl1200 kaya lang wala akong kakilala na marunong mag maintain dito sa cebu and si sir jamants nga ayaw mag ship ng tt at baka masira...

Oo nga sir.medyo complicated in your case.

@Nicadraus

Sana makatiyempo ng sl1200 na hindi masyadong laspag  ;)

Guys, aside from Rp3 & sl1200,ano pang budget friendly TTs na decent sounding na masuggest nyo?

Thanks!

@deist, the rp1 actually sounds good except for the lack of bass which i now believe is because of the rtia3s im using. I tried again hooking up my sub and this time using rca y connectors instead of using the in/out rca of the sub. This time it sounded the way i wanted it to be.

that happens to me also and when i turn it off. pero what i do now is i turn off my preamp first then turn off the phono stage then turn off the amp. dati if i turn it off before i turn off the preamp may thud. i suggest you turn off the sub first.

chief dapat talaga when turning on.....preamp-sources-power amp and when turning off should bE the opposite. This prevents potential transient spikes from the preamp or sources from being amplified and sent to the speakers.

That's great bro, kailangan ko rin pala i-consider subs for this project. Makapag-audi nga ng RP1 sa mga AV stores. thanks!

Congrats. Always nice to hear someone being able to get the sound that they like without spending too much.

This is also my goal sir, make the most out of my current system.

Mga sir, may nakikita akong Thorens sa isang marketing site dito sa pinas, I'm thinking of the TD-124 pero wala akong mahanap. Anong iba pang model ng Thorens ang maganda performance?

ganyan din pag turn on ko chief pre amp/phono stage then source then power amp. problem is sa phono stage palang may thump na sa sub. and eto pa na notice ko when i turn off the volume sa amp i can hear the music over the sub.  :o :o

here is my connection:

dun ko sya kinabit chief. kaya pag gamitin ko for audio i have to adjust xover kasi pag audio naka 0 xover otherwise marinig ko ibang freqs. and everytime i close the lid ng tt na amplify din sa sub...

yan daw 124 and pinakamahal na vintage thorens. lucky you if you can have  near mint 124for less than 30k, wala pang arm yan. td160super saka td125 are also good.....and if you are really gunning for the 124 which is an idler tt, why not try the lenco which is an idler also o gusto mo lang sir thorens brand? :)

@dollarman, as a previous owner of the RTia3 I would say the model is capable of providing decent bass. My opinion is the bass is defeated by the Chinese tubes in the Yaqin AMP. A change to NOS tubes may be very helpful to achieve decent Bass without a Subwoofer. IMHO.
