let me know if this specs is good for htpc and medium settings gaming.

AMD RICHLAND A8-6600K 3.9GHz (QUAD CORE)
GIGABYTE GA-F2A85XM-HD3 HD7000,DVI,HDMI,USB3
8GB DDR3 PC10600/1333
CROWN CHALLENGER 500W PSU


and ask ko po panu po malalabas ang sound na galing sa setup nato using htib?

yes, it is good enough for htpc and gaming at medium settings. if you want to game at higher settings, you'll need at least a mid-range video card.

if your htib has HDMI in, you can use your HTPC's HDMI out for both video and audio (even lossless HD audio can be supported depending on your htib)

otherwise, you may use the analog outs via 3.5mm to rca adapter cables (provided your htib supports multi-channel analog input)

if your htib will only accept S/PDIF digital co-ax or optical, you would need a discreet sound card with such interface.

post your htib's model for more specific answers

Puwede din check ung motherboard niya if my spidf of co-ax connection may mga mobo kasi na built na either sa two spidf or co-ax.

my bad, i only looked at the back panel pics and assumed there was no spdif...



based on spec sheet though, it says it has spdif header


EDIT:

from the manual:


so it comes with a header, but not the necessary hardware to utilize it... i think it's possible to DIY a simple RCA connector for digital co-ax
