How are your LG OLEDs?

I bought a 55 C9 last March, unit was replaced within a week. Broken/damaged speaker. A month later a green line appear at the center of the TV, was able to use it for a few weeks, then suddenly it won't turn on.

I am starting to regret choosing this brand now.

Are they mostly used for static images? Or random content? If random content may mga channel logos ba? I am also in the market for a 65 c8 or a c9. Sana lumabas na ang CX dito para mag lower na price.

Need your input guys. 115k for 65” C9 should I get it now or should I wait until all the appliance stores open to get a better deal?

PS4 1080p HDR + Netflix + Youtube + Viu. Puro subtitle pero wala namang burn in. Except sa vertical line, I think defect nga sa panel. Na sched na sa tech na palitan yung panel, waiting lang because of ecq.

There was a point na it totally wont turn on. Rest for 2 days, reset. Okay na ulit. The same time, the unit shutsdown when playing HDR games and HDR videos.
But at the moment, okay naman lahat.

Sana tumagal ng 5 years. Yung Sony na LCD ko lagpas 1 dekada okay pa rin.

Thanks

OUR Sony A8F 55" broke down after six months, six months kong hinulugan ito and almost right after the last payment month, March, namatay na siya. It powers on but there appeared the four red blinks (of death) which means may diperensia na ang power supply. Sony will not respond to calls, and they won't do home service kahit nasa warranty period pa. Kaya ang lesson dito medyo magalanganin na akong kumuha ng OLED, the razor-thin build though its aesthetically cutting-edge - could be the very factor that snuffs the life prematurely out of this kind of TVs. Its glamorously payat pero mas madaling masira. I will have to rethink my opinion on LCDs, another Sony model might be 3" inches thick pero maaring it'll proved itself a workhorse. Sayang talaga pera ko, even a Sharp 70" na talagang very mediocre ang picture, has lasted six years and still running through this epidemic year....

Thanks Sir T-Bone for the warranty info, di ko talaga sigurado kung may pagasa pa ito kasi wala akong binasa na literature noong bilhin namin ito. The only good thing about this OLED TV is that one man can carry it (for the repair), kayang bitbitin, no wonder it quickly failed....

FROM online seller, they advertised here, won't fault the man because because he has sold me two units before, older units still has life on them. The A8F is an ex-demo kaya kinuha namin dahil medyo mura . Even then I had to take out a bank loan for the payment, interest is P8,000+ for the entire six months. My little gripe about OLED is that the older you are with ageing eyesight running parallel with the piecemeal physical decline - the darker it appears. Hanggang doon na lang ang liwanag niya. Kaya I wanted to go LCD again after the Sharp 70" to compensate for the dimming eyesight....

Looks like there are also customers abroad not satisfied with Sony’s customer service. Check this link out. https://www.reddit.com/r/OLED/comments/gsl86c/is_sonys_warranty_and_customer_service_as_good_as/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf Heard alot of good things about LG’s though.

Check with the seller if he can arrange service.

Ooh, first ever Sony 48 inch OLED TV

Great for small rooms and tight spaces (where 55 inch TVs cannot fit)

Pero in any case, ano kaya pinagkaiba kumpara sa A9G/AG9?

I'M BETTING hindi nila pararatingin yang 48-inches na yan dito. Betting both for LG and Sony. May gagawing policy yan na parang killjoy, maybe their logic is that they don't want to "cannibalized" the sale of the mainstream sizes. Tingnan mo yung LG website, walang 48" na CX doon. Iba rin magisip yang mga kompanyang yan, sometimes they would set the choices for the Pinoys, purposedly made limited. "Huwag mong paratingin yang model na yan sa Pinas", or "Sell them this model but crippled ha."

Sa LG Singapore wala pa rin sila 48 inch OLED.

Pero we'll see how it goes. It is also possible na they are just preparing manufacturing and assembly for 48 inch panels (since new form factor pa sya).

In Japan though, next month pa ang launch ng 48 inch OLED:
https://www.sony.jp/bravia/products/KJ-A9S/

I'm thinking for North America and Europe, siguro anytme Q3 or Q4 2020.

Anyways, we'll see. Pag meron lumitaw na sa Sony Asia regional website, then aabang na ako for next year :D

i find this true.. for past models.. available ang 77 inch oled sa ibang regionmm dito di nirelease.. if they did. i wouldvd gotten one.. now i was happu to find out ilalabas ang 77 inch dito.. tapos nung nabasa ko may 48 inch. natuwa rin ako kasi sakto sya sa pc ko... then upon looking at their website, mukang di nga ilalabas 48.. well its their loss... esp these times na tingin ko magandang strategy ilabaa ang 48in oled kasi pandoras box yan... pag natikman ng tao what oled is all about, di yan mag hesitate bumili ng oled uli next time or baka magdagdag pa.. weird yung decision maker nila

In other country 48 and 55 LG CX are priced same lang. Mas maganda yata refresh rate ni 48CX and also intended for Gamers.  The 48" OLED by Sony just proves that panel really are from LG.
