Any word from LG Philippines kung kelan release date ng:
-LG Signature G7 OLED
&
-LG Signature W7 OLED

Hindi pwede na hanggang E6/E7 lang ang top-of-the-line for the Philippine market..........when every other company has launched flagships for their respective brands:
-Sharp Philippines (LC-80XU930X 80 inch "8K" TV)
-Sony Philippines (Bravia Z9D/ZD9 in 75 inch and 100 inch variants)
-Samsung Philippines (QLED Q7F and Q8C........with Q9F to follow in Q4 2018)
-Panasonic Philippines (65 inch OLED TV Philippine launch last week)

LG Philippines, please take note.....

tentative august release w7 and g7 series...

omg... still a long way to go for these to be near the price of LEDs.

When that time comes I have already enjoyed my KS7000 and maybe another time for an upgrade

For people with relatives near a fry's store in the US ...  Here is a very good deal .. MY brother bought his 65C7  the other week and got a rebate to match this offer ..

LG OLED 65C7P $2,296.99 with promo, in store only at FRY's, B&M
Posted Yesterday by mizdared at 01:54 PM
Products Linked: http://frys.com/search?search_typ...mail070217

Fry's weekly AD has the 65 inch one at 3,296.99, but when you go in the store, the sales associate can take another thousand dollars off of it, making it $2,296.99. I believe you can take $1000 off the 55 inch as well and that will be $1300. I purchased this deal and saved the receipts to confirm. Another customer bought the same TV at the same price right behind me. If they don't have the TV in stock they will write the order and you pay and they will give you free delivery.

Sorry I am new to this if I missed anything, just trying to pass the deal along.

Weekly Ad:
http://images.frys.com/art/email/....html#set3

Wow mura na ito!!!
$2,296 is around Php 115,000
Locally best cash price purchase for the 65c7 is Php 174,000

Problema na lang is shipping to Philippines...

LED panels are so cheap to make  :D

Hopefully OLEDs would come down to about P1000 per inch, then I can afford to get one.  Maybe in 5 years.......

High end LCD TV panels still cost quite a bit to make, especially from a capital expenditure and R&D standpoint. This initial expense is one of the large barriers to entry. We'd see more companies making these panels if it was so lucrative. Samsung Display and Acer Unipac Optronics are the only suppliers of flagship-class LCD TV panels at the moment. Hon Hai wants to be part of that group in two years.

I was not talking about the hi-end LCD panels.

I am talking about all those very affordable LED flooding the markets today.  So cheap that our household alone has 2 65" and 2 55" TVs.   Even our driver has a 42" LED in his home.  This would not have been possible years ago.

For value-oriented LCD TV panels, it truly is commoditized. Relative new comer Beijing Oriental Electronics actually overtook  Taiwan's largest producer (Innolux) in sheer volume, while the even newer China Star Optoelectronics overtook Taiwan's other large producer (Acer Unipac). These new players are pulling down LCD prices.

The current LCD TV Panel giants are (based on 2016 sales):
1. LG (Korea) - 53M units
2. Samsung (Korea) - 47M units
3. Beijing Oriental (China) - 44M units
4. Innolux (Taiwan) - 42M units
5. China Star (China) - 33M units
6. Acer Unipac (Taiwan) - 27M units
7. Sakai Display (Japan) - est. 10M units

Just got a response from Panasonic Philippines facebook page (via PM)

65EZ1000 = SRP of PHP349,000

Not bad imho.

The closest match would be LG E6 OLED TV (currently priced at 299,000). However, I would rather spend extra 50K to get the Panasonic OLED instead.

-Better color reproduction (closer to DCI-P3 color triangle)
-Better image processing

Just my opinion :)

IIRC, Sony and Panasonic OLED TV's also use LG panels. but they use their own video processing.

In the meantime, meron naman Nano Cell and Quantum Dot na HDR.

The quality is great enough for movie enjoyment.

I observed that in the Cinemas, the Blacks are not very black anyway.
