In other news, mukhang inuubos na ni LG PH ang stocks ng G7...................kasi they are making way for the W8

Sir what model of 65 OLED TV are you referring to? I believe the Sony 65 A1 cash price ranges from P138,000.00 to P145,000.00 while the LG 65 C8 cash price is around P156,000.00.

Those are for the latest models ng LG OLED.
You can get previous generation units for lower prices (kasi the stores need to clear out inventory)

The Sony A1E  oled now at clearance is really a great deal for the picture quality you get ..plus the audio is so much better than the other flat screens .  It’s a worthy replacement to the pioneer Kuro.

The PQ is so good that It is only now that I am interested in getting 4K hdr movies and setting up a player for it .  My other tv is a 9000E and the oled Blacks make a big difference

Panasonic Philippines launches 2018 TV lineup - spearheaded by the TH-65FZ1000S OLED Flagship TV

https://www.panasonic.com/ph/consumer/home-entertainment/televisions/th-65fz1000s.html

For comparison, we have an old Panasonic Plasma (manufactured July 2008). This new Panasonic OLED will run circles around the old model with no sweat :O

THE SONY A1E 55" can still be sourced from "WELSC" for P115,000. Magkano naman itong Panasonic 55" OLED? Have you owned one already to evaluate that the picture finally overwhelms the plasma of the recent yesteryears?

After a little over a year, my 65C6 developed one straight fine line of what I assumed to be dead pixels/leds which is weird considering these are OLEDs. Visible when screen is really dark or grey only though. Thank God for 2 years warranty.

Also looking forward to buy LG C8.

Opinion ko (as someone who is still scared of possible burn in)

Di ganun ka-high risk sa burn in as long as you dont watch or use your tv na may static image like cnn's logo or other tv stations na may static logo.

Ps4 gaming - shouldnt be an issue. HTPC, as long as paiba iba pinapanood and walang static image, ok yan.

Ako nagdodota pa nga ako sa C8 ko. So far no issues naman kahit na may static na display for items and heroes
Magiging issue pa rin ba ang "image burn-in" sa OLED TVs kung nakakabit sa PS4 or HTPC?
