Answering my own question, you have to toggle match dynamic range on Apple TV setup so the latter matches DR of content in lieu of highest DR and refresh rate capability of TV, which is the Apple TV default.  Night and day difference in results.

Panasonic, TCL, and Skyworth have brought in OLED units (all LG panels) to the country but the only one I've seen at the malls so far is Skyworth.

Panasonic OLED sighted at Anson's, can be bought ₱86k cash or ₱88k straight credit.

Same panel as LG but reportedly with a better processor.

Grabe ka cheap ang OLED sa States this Black Friday Week sale. LG65C9 OLED it's only @$1,699  free delivery/shipping pa! That's cheaper than a heavily discounted offer here of LG55C9 (92K cash)

The 70 inch seems to be a limited edition........and probably only exclusive to certain territories (e.g. South East Asia and South Asia)
Is it worth it?

If you're a nerdy videophile who really cares for how good the PQ is then don't do it.  Otherwise, a bigger panel should be better for most folks.  Trust me, though, you will notice the drop in picture quality.

I noticed that Sony has pulled down their SRP price for the flagship A9G, pantay na lang ang presyo nito sa what is supposed to be the "second-tier" A8F for the 55", while pulling down considerably the 65"'s value and it ended up lower than its 65" equivalent to the A8F. Ang pakiwari ko the stock for the A9F is not moving, they released a flagship model pero parang walang maka-afford, hence they were compulsed to priced it even lower than the next-best. But on Picture parameters alone, the A8 is cited by a respected American TV calibrator Gregg Loewen a.k.a. D-NICE, to be the value for money model. In his posts from the AVS, he has given his tweaking figures for the A8, and as I can poorly remember he seemed to say that if you've a tight budget this is the thing to own, its not a "second-best," it could actually run neck to neck with the flagship - whose claim to superiority is its video upscaler/processor - supposedly with a slightly smarter algorithm. When referencing prices from online and outlet vendors, you'd noticed that some dead-stock desperation is apparent - the A855 is steady at around P114,000 thereabouts, while the reference model is waiting to be grabbed for P98,000 thereabouts. If only I have the money, I'd go for the A9F/G 65", wala na sigurong mumura pa dito anywhere else except the Philippines...

we also have a c8 sa bedroom, you will really feel difference from the entry level samsung. sabi nga ng wife kapag nanood sa ibang tv namin parang malabo daw.

if primary use is para sa kids at youtube, then mas ok cguro yung 70 pero other than that mas ok yung oled.

You might want to check out the Panasonic 55 GZ100s.  It's a fantastic panel and is available at Carousell for ₱79,990.  It's an absolute steal considering it is very nearly at the A9G level but at ₱20k less in price.  It also supports HDR10+, which the Sony does not.

It uses an LG panel but has a better image processor.  According to quite a few reviews, you actually end up getting a better TV than an equivalent LG.

AH yes, I also was surprised of the Panasonic being present locally but is falling under the cracks, so to speak. After Panasonic retired the plasma, parang nawala na rin sila sa kamalayan ng tao, and now that they wanted to get back in the game, parang hirap na silang maka-reestablished. But the P79K price tag moistens the eyes, you'd not do so if you're not aware of the lauds it has earned in the UK/Europe A/V evaluators. Pero ang ayaw ko sa Panasonic is that they have a certain color template and a blunted sharpness scheme, which they fancily calls as "Hollywood" something. I saw that in their blu ray players, in model after model the same color and sharpness level doesn't change. Di ko gusto ang de rigueur template that they adopted, and so I am guessing they'd also adopted the same color and picture softness to their OLED TVs. I'd probably aspire still to have a Sony, unless I see a Panasonic in action. You'd know if the picture fulfils your standard when you play your testing BDs. I had done that with the LGs in Abensons and it was all a letdown, even the salesman there was slyly denigrating the LG Oled (though not fair at all because you knew instinctively he was trying to push you to go for the Samsung - na alang kuwenta)....
