How much is a brand new cx? If it is in the 80 to 90 thou range i will just add for a brand new unit. Meron pa peace of mind. Installment naman puede diba? Assuming you will add 20 thou,  that's 3 plus thou a month nalang add mo.

I got my CX55 last July from Anson's along ADB Ave. for 69,000. Posted price on sale was 74,999 cash or straight charge. I haggled with the sales person and pina approve nila sa manager yung 69k for cash payment. The unit I got was 1 of the last 3 they still had on stock then.

actually dto lang satin yang price na yan sa cash, sa ibang bansa presyo yan ng recentlly released B1 oled. pra makabenta agad suppliers sinasagad agad nila price when posting online sa marketplace, its like blackfriday sale price sa US. pero hindi lahat same pricing, yung iba nsa 75k pa rin presyo sa c1 ung iba 68-69k. sa mall mas mahal pa ang presyo if wala ka mapakita na presyo na nakita mo online for them to maybe price match.

not  much difference except for the remote and  updated WebOS interface.  Plus,  reviews say that the CX has brighter  picture.

Kamusta yung reflection ng screens ng LG C1 vs. Sony A80J sa well lit room or kung medyo maliwanag ang daylight sa window?

always lamang and reservee sa highend models ang glossy finish. kaya lamang dito ang c1, a90j same glossy finish din. the a80j semi-gloss diffused ung reflection, some may argue its better sa bright room but for me its distracting ksi mas malaki ung reflection size ksi diffused, it also dulls perceived contrast and color saturation a bit.

Thanks for the feedback.

Wala nang future update to WebOS 7. Anyway bonus na lang na supported ng C1 yung AirPlay at Homekit since medyo ginagamit ko na yung mga yun.

Perfect na sana nga yung LG OLED except sa OS. Kailangan ko pa mag switch kapag Disney+ or HBO Max and other streaming apps.

Maganda daw ang support ng LG OLED TVs for color calibration using Calman software compared to other brands. 145USD para sa Calman Home for LG. Worth it kaya? Meron na kasi akong Xrite i1Display Pro colorimeter na compatible.

Is there a way to download Disney+ and HBO Max on the CX? I prefer yung image quality ng native LG processor vs the Nvidia Shield.

Fear of burn-in is the excuse of many not to spend.

You ain't getting younger and typical lifespan is up to your 70s.

Buy a 4K OLED TV before 8K blu-ray players debut in 2026.

I am rewatching Game of Thrones on HBO Max via Nvidia Shield with AI upscaling on the CX . I am just so amazed about the image quality. I cannot recall how many times I verbalized it. My wife said baka maiyak daw ako

Are there any static video elements on the screen or are they purely dynamic?

not an excuse for me ... my alternative for an OLED would be the Sony X95J when or if it becomes available and it is practically the same price as an OLED ... I still worry about the burn-in from my experience with a Samsung phone (S9) with an AMOLED display - after just a few months of use, the lines of the Sudoku game that I frequently play were permanently burned-in to the screen, hence I keep on watching out for feedback/comments/reviews from owners before dipping into the OLED tv's - I'm pretty sure that they would be catching up on the technology to prevent burn-in ... this was the same with plasma technology, the first releases really suffered bad burn-ins

I've also noticed the LG OLED displays they have at the Seoul International Airport back in 2018 had bad burn-ins as those are likely on air for almost 24x7 ... regarding the Samsung phone, I'm now on a S20 model for over a year and it doesn't have a burn-in image - not sure though if it's because I am avoiding static image or improvement in technology (or both)

Burn-in is a real concern for spending premium, hence it is a good thing to read reviews for people who used their tv's for several months ... it's encouraging that @Ceev is mentioning that the OLED tv in their office is not experiencing any burn-in after 12.1k hours of use

I would likely get the Sony A80J in a few months due mainly to the Google TV OS
Marantz NR1200, MartinLogan Motion 20 digital audio setup, and Sony A80J

Did your S9 have a tempered glass protector? The only phone that I experienced burn-in had a tempered glass protector which "overheats" the screen.

^ I think some older AMOLED phone screens were prone to burn-in. I had a Samsung Galaxy S which developed burn-in in under two years.

My current phone which is an iPhone XS Max also has an OLED screen and with a tempered glass screen protector. I have had it for over two years now and still no burn-in.

yung heat ang nakaka burn ng screen.. dati gamit ko as cyclo comp is my S9 with AMOLED screen.. eh nabibilad sa araw pag nag bike.. ayun makikita mo after na may burn-in marks.. pero pag nag cool down na nawawala din..

so kung babad sa init yung unit, possible talaga mag burn in ang image lalo na kung static image
