Ayun lang as the article simply put...as usual just like when OLED first rolled out... " For rich people first — then the rest of us "

I personally would have to wait for the technology to saturate and have their ROI before doing a mass market pricing. The silver lining is I will probably get another WRGB OLED in a much cheaper price due to the competition.. basing on the OLED price decline..the QD OLED will be palatable to common folks within 2026.

the good news about the QD-OLED is that it will further lower the cost of the current WRGB OLED's, so for bang for the buck and bargain hunters, the next price reductions and possibly the models next year of the WRGB OLEDs would be the best options to buy ... 2024 siguro medyo pababa na price ng QD-OLED

QD-OLED video from HDTVTest

At 65" the initial screens would be pretty small. Larger models would probably be available after a year or two.

sa mga abensons 78k n lng cash ng a9G weeks ago eh, sa people na eyeing LG a1, isang option nyo itong sony a9g, halos same sa 80k for 65" mas bang for buck ito.
Saan branch ng Absensons ito?

Ito pa din kaya presyo nito ngayon?

Naghahanap kasi ako at 65" OLED ngayon para makabili.

Hi.

I went to Ansons and inquired about the LG C1 65 inch. They gave me the price of 94k. Is this already a good deal?

Thanks in advance.

Swerte niyo sa Manila ah. Dito sa province, 103K ang last na pa-tawad ng Abenson's sa akin para sa 65" LG C1. Cash basis pa yun ha.

https://www.techradar.com/news/lgs-65-inch-c1-oled-tv-drops-to-record-low-price-just-ahead-of-the-super-bowl

"The big game is just weeks away, and if you're looking to snag an epic Super Bowl TV deal on a stunning display, then you're in luck. We've just spotted LG's 65-inch C1 OLED TV on sale for $1,796.99 (was $2,499,99) at Amazon. That's a massive $700 discount and the lowest price we've seen for the OLED display."

Aba'y mas mura pa rin pala sa Cash N' Carry.  ;D

Maganda nga din quote noong nagtanong ako via Messenger. Question, ang OLED TV ba kakayanin ang 9-10 hour travel na nakahiga? Otherwise I will need to remove the back seats of my SUV for the trip. Pero masyadong hassle kasi para sa 13K difference, plus possible warranty claims pa. Kelan ba magkakaroon kaya ng Sale ang Abenson's this 1st Q ng 2022?

experience ko sa big box stores sa US like Best Buy...after Superbowl Sunday expect to see open box/slightly used units of big TV's. Daming kawatan dyan na bibili ng TV for the game and then return it the week after the game citing made up issues.  TV's end up being sold open box/slightly used.

After a lot of research work and number crunching, I finally pulled the trigger on a Sony 65A80J ... first impressions, very satisfied with the purchase ... I'll try to create a separate thread on a detailed review so as not to hijack this thread, but all the worries about OLED tv's brightness is just BS - if this is the reason why you are doubting to buy an OLED tv, you should not be worried

nope, and I think it will never be 100% eliminated. but for normal usage it shouldn't be an issue.

we have a 3 year old LG C8, that still looks great.

Looking forward to the review...

I got it for 109k using AMEX BDO credit card straight charge, but AMEX have a promo that has a cash back of 2,500 for the purchase, and another promo that allows you to convert the straight charge to 0% interest for 6-12 months, hence a good deal ... yung mga sellers sa Carousell are selling the unit for 106k cash

I already updated the firmware, and my initial impressions are really great, best tv I've owned in terms of picture quality and picture ... and the big surprise was the sound quality - listening to Youtube music at high volumes produces good quality and a decent bass ... I know that there are a lot of info on setting up the picture quality, I've followed the most basic setup recommendations and I think I'm going to stick with it as the picture is really impressive - watching NBA on this tv would really make you smile, can't wait for the start of the F1 season

Coming from LG WebOS, I can say that Google TV rocks in terms of the available apps that you can use - this was the main factor why I chose Sony over LG ... my choice really boiled down to the different features that I need as I know that the picture quality is both excellent for both Sony and LG OLED ... one thing I'm missing from LG is the air mouse function of the remote

I've been using the tv for just 2+ days and still a lot to discover, one issue that I'm still trying to resolve is that there's no audio coming out from the eARC HDMI port when connecting to my Marantz NR1200 network receiver ... the TV automatically detects the receiver when powered on but audio is not working (probably needs some thinkering on either the receiver or tv or both) ... I temporarily used an optical cable to have audio output on the receiver

For those wanting more apps from webOS, try unlocking your Location/Region and have a VPN. You will unlock a lot more apps available in the EU and USA.  You need a service remote control for LG to change the Location/Region setting.  Procedure are plenty in You tube..

I was able to resolve the issue on eARC HDMI ... since my receiver is only a stereo receiver, I had to setup the output of the TV to PCM audio only - the multi-channel formats such as DTS are not decoded by the receiver

I doubt na mag 60K yung 55” C1. Before, I observed yung prices ng 55 CX, never bumagsak ng 60K flat haha.

Alienware’s upcoming QD-OLED monitor has a $1,299 price tag

https://www.theverge.com/2022/2/13/22932031/alienwares-qd-oled-monitor-price-tag

Hmm, still expensive but not too bad considering the specs. I was expecting the first QD-OLED gaming monitor to be much more expensive than this because it makes use of a bleeding edge panel and that it's supposed to directly compete with those high-end MiniLED G-Sync Ultimate gaming monitors from the likes of ASUS which cost about $3K.

the Sony A9G which I believe is a master series goes for less than 80k sa Abenson, 78k tag price, probably lower if you pay cash
