Any referrals or recommendations for a reliable but not too expensive service/repair  for an LCD monitor that would shut down regularly during usage?

I had my 24" Samsung 2545B LCD Monitor repaired at AVX (Audio/Video eXchange) in Harrison Plaza - in between max's and mcdo.

They've been quietly repairing audio/video equipment since the early 1990s.

The tech's name is Larry.

As for your issue - it may be an inverter problem or power regulator problem
