Samsung called me up regarding the defective unit ... they insisted that they will only be replacing the panel and not the whole unit, noting that the issue was reported after 7 days (10 days to be exact) ... i raised a complaint to Abenson's customer service noting that this is unacceptable ... they'll be communicating with Samsung, but so far it is a bad customer experience i'm getting from both Abenson and Samsung ... Abenson should've done their part and replace the unit and just coordinated directly with Samsung and not leave the customer in between; and Samsung should've recognized the manufacturing defect and just replaced the unit, not leaving the customer with a repaired unit barely a month from purchase ... response time for both also sucks, more than 2 weeks after the problem was reported is unacceptable, and worst is their decision to just repair
i miss the service i got from SNS when i purchased my Panny ... seems that gray units are even better purchases as long as you got it from reputable stores
