Bro raptor, I live in Makati but was able to purchase my unit at Abenson Trinoma because magulo kausap ang mga tao dyan sa Abenson Glo at Green. No matter how much na insist ko that other branches are giving the offer ayaw pumayag but when we went to Abenson Trino immediately we were welcome with open arms.
I hope Trino is different from these two branches since hassle nga if in case something bad will happen to my unit.
If I were you, do not stop insisting to Samsung and Abenson for unit replacement. Sa Anson's Landmark replacement agad yan, based sa ilang experience namin. Too bad nga lang sir Vic and Anson's do not offer this TV.

My replacement was delivered awhile ago, No vertical lines being noticed... i will test the unit the whole day today and over this long weekend

congrats sir, hopefully it's defect free this time ... my request though is still in limbo, hopefully it gets resolved soon ... i've refused the repair offered by Samsung and got back at Abenson and asked their customer service to coordinate with Samsung and not put me in the middle

thank you ma'am ... service provided by SNS and sir Vic is really topnotch, i've bought most of my recent AV equipment from him, just that this particular model is exclusive to Abenson (I do not know how they manage to do that)

Oh well yung Panny na mas choice ko since 42 inches lang baka may issue rin. Haha hopefully hindi ako matapat sa lemon units

This Samsung comes with a two-year warranty. Minsan just be persistent for warranty claims, you have all right to ask for replacement of the unit, or for just part or just service.

Whew! Kaasar wall mount ito, ha. Ang lake ng butas ng thread sa vesa mount points! Nakabili ako sa Automatic center ng wall mount na LG accessory. Maliit pa din screws. 1,500php yung bracket. Ito yata pang free nila pag promo.

Umubra yung high tensile bolts na gamit ko sa oto
Yun lang maliit naman butas ng bracket para sa bolt!
Ipagpabukas ko na pagpalaki ng butas sa bracket.

Biro mo, aside from the fact na the unit itself is impressive, i bought this at P39,997, 6 months, zero interest installment on a buy now, pay 3 months after promo! Of course, kasama pa yung free 28" LED TV!

That's a very good deal
I suggest like what most did - to burn in the panel as musch as possible within the return/replace period
I'm now watching Man of Steel

I'm having problems with Despicable Me 2 but it's most likely my playback source (AMD E350 based on Windows via XBMC)
I'll try downloading a new version and see if it will work.
The file plays back in Splash Lite but it doesn't output DTS HD
So off to a new version of XBMC or a fix.

Just to update you all guys, after my replacement was delivered last friday, i watched a remux Extended version of Avatar, when im on my 2 hours of watching may lumabas na naman na vertical line, this time sa left side naman at green naman... grabe naman palagi sa akin ang timing ngayon, hehehe so i reported agad and the sales person of Abenson trinoma, Elmo, ask his supervisor while im on the line for an urgent replacement at wag na dumaan sa process na kailangan pang puntahan ng samsung reps, naririnig ko yung usapan nila while im on the phone... that day nagpapaunta sila ng abenson representative sa bahay to make a report, yesterday they called me na ide-deliver yung 3rd unit by today, so waiting mode ako ngayon...

Siguro nga tyempuhan lang, nataon na 2 defective units ang napunta sa akin, sabi nila, 3rd unit na reported sa kanila yun pero the rest na nakabili sa kanila wala naman daw ganung issues...

If ever ganun pa din yung 3rd unit na napunta sa akin, ano kaya magandang gawin? refund? replace by another model (pero ayoko na magdagdag sa price) if ever... ang kinakatakot ko ngayon, what if the 7 days replacement period expires, pano na?

But so far so good naman ang after sales service ng Abenson Avant Trinoma, hiyang-hiya nga yung mga sales reps nila sa akin e... but still hassle pa rin kahit na dine-deliver nila yung unit sa bahay...

yung sa Abensons Glorietta walang hiya ... they said they will get feedback from Samsung on Tuesday pa ... dapat ginawan na nila ng paraan para di sila masira sa customer

use to chase yung mga bargain tv such as this....but nowadays due to research(here at pdvd and some other sites etc..) at naging videophile ng taste natin so with that i usually lean into high-end plasma such as the sammy's F8500, hope to get it next week...
