Just updated my TV with the latest firmware; wala naman akong ineexpect na major changes. I think baka playability lang ng file, or worse case baka magka protection ng playback. lolx

folks you can tsk your unit on how many hours has been used since you bought it. the service menu can be access thru your remote control by pressing some secret combinations of buttons but i don't know how to do it perhaps you can search it in the net. this way you will know how fresh your F5000 is.

Another proud owner of a Samsung F5000. Bought it earlier @ Abenson's Market! Market! and felt got the best deal. Biro mo, aside from the fact na the unit itself is impressive, i bought this at P39,997, 6 months, zero interest installment on a buy now, pay 3 months after promo! Of course, kasama pa yung free 28" LED TV!

Just to update you all guys, after my replacement was delivered last friday, i watched a remux Extended version of Avatar, when im on my 2 hours of watching may lumabas na naman na vertical line, this time sa left side naman at green naman... grabe naman palagi sa akin ang timing ngayon, hehehe so i reported agad and the sales person of Abenson trinoma, Elmo, ask his supervisor while im on the line for an urgent replacement at wag na dumaan sa process na kailangan pang puntahan ng samsung reps, naririnig ko yung usapan nila while im on the phone... that day nagpapaunta sila ng abenson representative sa bahay to make a report, yesterday they called me na ide-deliver yung 3rd unit by today, so waiting mode ako ngayon...

Siguro nga tyempuhan lang, nataon na 2 defective units ang napunta sa akin, sabi nila, 3rd unit na reported sa kanila yun pero the rest na nakabili sa kanila wala naman daw ganung issues...

If ever ganun pa din yung 3rd unit na napunta sa akin, ano kaya magandang gawin? refund? replace by another model (pero ayoko na magdagdag sa price) if ever... ang kinakatakot ko ngayon, what if the 7 days replacement period expires, pano na?

bro, napapanahon sa Nov.1 yang experience mo sa tv ah.

wala naman sigurong "something" na nag cause nyan sa location ng tv mo? meganon?

matindi nyan, maubos na sa kakapalit hanggang sa lumagpas ng 7 days then charge to experience na lang kaya kung pwede after the 3rd unit na meron pa din, pa refund mo na.

Anyway, yesterday at 6PM my 3rd unit was delivered to me, i was the one who put it out of the box and same with other previous unit, it has 0 hours on it, so siguradong bnew... I watched for 7 1/2 hours last night and nearly 15 hours today straight and so far so good, hopefully this is it, and sana walang maging problem in the future yung TV

Anyway, since medyo ok na ang unit, bigay naman ako ng konting review...

This Plasma is way better than my ever dependable Panny PV80 in terms of Picture Quality, and it should be because its 1080p vs 720p panel... but for it's price, you cant go wrong with this model... Picture is Crisp already at a standard mode, but if you calibrate it, there's really a WOW factor in it. It's not as good as the higher model but it definitely will do the job... Panalo sa presyo at PQ!!!

Wag lang masisira, hehehe lahat naman ng unit may possibility pero if it will last for 3 or more years, then sulit na sulit na ang pagkakabili

42,997 hmmmm. When i visited store in waltermart, the original price was 47k+. Does this mean that the next weekend sale mas bababa pa price nito?

But everytime i upgrade the firmware, may message na lumalabas "Currently No available update" or something like that daw... Anyone who experienced it or tried updating their firmware? kung meron nakapag-update, ano difference?

Ensure mo na na extract mo yung nadownload mo na file (or click the exe file first) then a folder will be created and copy that to usb (or extract to USB) para mag engage ang firmware update
