best is if the center is below eye level ... less strain on the eyes and neck

in my case I'll either be lying down or sitting on the bed

Finally got a suitable fixed wall mount from Ace for 1,549.75Php
Perfect View sells it and North Bayou is the OEM
Product code is NBC3-F they have a tilting version, too for almost 2K

Sakto lang dimensions niya at sagad na sa 400 x 600mm

Hi po mga 51F5000 users, ask ko lang if na try nyo na sa console (xbox 360 / ps3), how's the performance? input lag? not sure if the F5000 is the same as F5300 (localization lang) but found this review http://www.rtings.com/reviews/tv/plasma/samsung/f5300 na ung F5300 may 70ms na input lag.

We use it for PS3 most of the time. I am not very critical with the refresh rate pero noticeably softer ang image niya compared to my PV80 but not by much. Bigger screen with great picture quality still enhances the gaming experience.

Besides the 3D feature, there's also the smart features ... here's a comparison of the 2 models from the Samsung website -

looks the same except for the 3D and Smart ... and on the inputs, the 5500 have 3 HDMI ports compared to 2 for the 5000 ... i would say that the price difference is worth it if you are after the 3D feature and smart features ... in my case though, i'm thinking that those are something that i would probably use for a week or two and would likely never use again, hence i went for this model

Overall, I'm satisfied. However, I just noticed on black areas of the display, there are dancing green pixels. Did some research and came up with this link avsforum.com/t/946267/does-your-plasma-have-dancing-green-pixels.

Has anyone else had this experience with this unit? Have you reported this to Samsung and was it resolved successfully?

If it appears only when you're too close to the TV, that's "dithering," which is normal on all plasma TVs, not just Samsung.

hindi ba kayo naba-bother sa pagka reflective ng screen nya?

i sold my plasma to get this one or the F5500 pero pag nanonood kasi ako ng reviews and yung display unit sa avant atc, pansin ko parang mas reflective pa sya sa Pana X30 ko dati

my pv80 has AR coating afaik..coming from a pana plasma hindi naman ako na bother..since I always watch with dim lights or lights off..

pero pag normal viewing lang..it's still ok for me.. since maliwanag output nya..

if you are really bothered by it..then I guess it's not for you sir..it's better to buy something else na ma satisfy needs nyo lalo na hard earned money yan

sanay naman ako sa reflective na screen sir. we also watch lights off and with blockout blinds + thick curtains pag maaraw pa dun sa isa naming plasma.

hindi ko lang ma-assess sa store since sobrang maliwanag if magiging tolerable sya pagdating na sa bahay. at least i got info from first hand users

i'm also coming from a Panasonic 42PV8 and not bothered with the reflectiveness of the screen ... sa living room naka-position yung tv and although may curtains it is quite bright during morning to afternoon and wala namang issue

problema ko lang kasi is 8ft lang yung viewing distance ko and ilalagay ko sya sa sala (yung mga windows sa side naman nakalagay).
pang tele serye ni mrs. and movies sa weekends.

I'm not sure about the 33k/12mos. Dati kasi meron 32.5k/6 mos.

I sold my Panasonic TH-42X20V then I got the 51 a month ago sa Cash and Carry,  42k orig price that time pero nakatawad ako hanggang 31k straight payment with free HT. I sold the HT for 5k. hehehe.

Yup same here. 5 to 6 feet ideal for me for that size
