Hi,

Just got my unit at Abenson trinoma. Trying it out tonight with my flashdrive. Do you guys have that "Options" letters (image retention na ba to?). Just noticed kasi I turned all the lights off. Its on the right corner, movie kasi pinapanood ko so andoon siya sa black border area. Please advise, Wall bracket will be installed on wednesday so I might ask for replacement na agad sana.

Yes, it's the same TV even if it's a slightly different model number.

with regards to channel arrangement, pwede naman re-arrange, just like what i did pero pagtya-tyagaan mo talaga - not sure if it's my cable provider (Cablelink), but even on my Panasonic tv hindi rin naka-arrange ng maayos using auto tuning ... i would suggest obtaining a list of the correct arrangement and printing it on paper para may guide ka, but isa-isa mo talaga babaguhin

Samsung Tech just replaced the SVC-Module of my panel. Total down time was around 7-days -- 3-days for diagnosis and another 4-days to order the part & install it.

Thanks sir! Inquire ko na lang din sa kanila. Although after mga 30mins nawala naman. Most kasi ng tests namin kagabi via usb. So siguro dahil laging andun sa menu laging nakadisplay ung options. So parang nagkaroon na ng imprint na "Options", mapansin mo lang siya kapag madilim talaga.

IMHO, there will always be IR especially for plasma TVs. Iba-iba lang ang level of retention depending on your usage and I don't think it would be covered by warranty unless para na siyang group of stucked pixels. It should go away after some time.

You might want to try the Abenson's in house mount. It was 999 last August, all in. Distance from the wall is substantial, enough for ventilation and cables. It is generic but not bad. I have no complaints. They installed it the next day, 20+ minutes lang and they were done. Malinis pa mag trabaho.

Ah I see sir. Thanks for the clarification. This is our first plasma kasi so kasama un sa minomonitor ko if mag-occur. And yes, nawala naman siya after some time. Just like in the earlier post, I did not expect na magkakaroon siya ng IR this early, kakabili lang. Enjoy naman movie experience except for that. =)

I tried din to lower the cell light ba un to 18 for movies.

Just had my defective panel replaced, samsung service crew replaced it here in my living room. They were on time and on requested schedule. Took them 10 mins to replace the panel... Excellent customer service imho... Now the plasma is working great again! No more annoying line

I think it's actually more susceptible to IR when a panel is new becuase the phosphors burn brighter when they're new.

same as mine (although the one I have is 3D version brother PF515500). so I've decided to reduce muna yung contrast and i break-in ko (kahit sabi ng iba dito na hindi na need). mostly nangyayari naman sa akin is when watching tv and yung mga network logos yung na re-retain. so, ginawa ko dun sa picture size is instead of 16:9 I set it to zoom na lang.

Just 3-days after repair, my unit is busted again with the same problem. Need to call Samsung Tech again.

sir, you mentioned on your other post that the technician was trying to blame the HDMI switch ... he may have basis from other units they repaired or Samsung's technical bulletins to mention such claim ... maybe best to disconnect the HDMI switch once the unit is repaired again

Hdmi switch has been disconnected since the first repair to rule it out as the cause of damage. Looks like it is unrelated.
