Ah ok. I think it's a better deal kasi yung 28" usable unlike the 23". Or mas madali ma dispose. Pero depende din siguro kung anong 28" model ang kasama.

not sure if it's the same one your asking, but the video specs for this is 600Hz subfield motion

Iba yung motion interpolation sa sub-field drive.

Samsung's term for motion interpolation is "Clear Motion Rate" (CMR).

Samsung's term for sub-field drive is "Subfield Motion." Sub-field drive is not motion interpolation and has nothing to do with motion interpolation.

Confusing, kasi mahilig talaga sa misleading marketing terms ang Samsung.

Ang CMR ay meron lang sa Samsung LED; walang ganon sa Samsung plasma.

Ang 600Hz subfield motion naman, sa Samsung plasma lang; walang ganon sa Samsung LED. Hindi adjustable ang subfield motion ng Samsung plasma (hindi rin adjustable ang sub-field drive ng kahit anong plasma TV).

mga bossing maki epal lang dito sa thread nyo. since i bought the TOSHIBA 50L2300 di kasi ubra sa bahay ko plasma (too bright living room, too much windows) i convinced my sister to buy this unit instead. havent visited her house yet to check her unit out.

in behalf of my sister, ano ang recommended calibration settings nyo for this unit? sorry if di na ako nakapag back read. thanks sa mag share.

was suppose to get this last saturday night, ang bigay sa akin is 35.9K free 28" LED, pag check ko ng unit, may 1 dead pixel, so i said kuha pa ulit iba stock, pag dating nung kapalit, check ulit, may 2 dead pixels naman, i was suppose to get the 1st unit but to haggle some more, dahil nga may dead pixel, sabay alok nung toshiba 50" led na additional 1k na lang daw. (wala lang freebie), since mas malinaw at mas matipid ang LED, we opt to get the 50" toshiba led, instead. ok sya, sobrang liwanag, naka standard setting lang, masyado malinaw pag naka dynamic. we only watch @ night, thats why. btw, switching from 32" to 50" was really amazing!!! hehehe, I still think that 51" samsung's plasma + free 28" led is really bang for buck deal, if they have a unit in better condition, i still would have got it.

at first pala, sinabi ng SA na may increase na nga, dahil bigger screen yung free, i think 40K na nga ata, but then bigay nila ng old price if cash/straight charge ka. 40K 0% deferred. HTH.

yung 1 dead pixel is not obvious, and will not affect your vieweing pleasure, medyo tinamaan lang ako ng pagka OC when i saw yung diagnostic sa menu, kaya nakita. but i can live with it, kung natuloy kong nakuha.

Which branch ito? Para maiwasan yun units since di ako gaano mabusisi hehe. At okay yun offer 35.9k with the 28 inch led. 39.9k usually yung price this month kasi

I suggest you work with the basic preset picture settings of the TV for now. As soon as the plasma has reached the 100th hour of use, then do calibration settings (you will need to do some backreading).

Don't worry, you won't need to do any break-in procedures for this tv.

waltermart makati. 40K was their 1st offer since the freebie is already 28", then i asked, how much if cash/straight charge, he asked his manager and said 35.9K. It really was a great deal na talaga, old price, but bigger freebie, san ka pa?? may in-built media player pa. We tested mkv and works like a charm. too bad, no better stock for me, so ended with the toshiba 50" led. So happy with my fate, mas malinaw at mas matipid sa kuryente at 135W lang. while the unit i replace (32" lcd) was 180W, I just didnt get the power consumption of this plasma.

Bought this tv a month ago, the first time i watched a full movie 1080p using my seagate harddrive ok naman sya pero kapag nanonood na ako ng 720p or 1080p na movie everytime nag didisconnect ung harddrive from the tv randomly while watching which means kailangan ko ulit i-fastforward sa time na naputol. pero na try ko manood ng hindi 1080p or 720p ok naman hindi nag didisconect ung hardrive. Ano kaya problema?

Finally took the plunge and bought one just a couple of hours ago. Wasn't able to test it yet. The unit will be delivered tomorrow or within the week by Abensons delivery personnel. The Samsung guy will be the one, though, to install it daw accdg. to the Abensons sales person. I scheduled the installation this saturday, Samsung's schedule permitting.
