if it's as good as advertised, the 51H5000 will be a good buy, cause i really have no complaint with the current Samsung 51F5000 that i have ... i've never enjoyed watching the NBA games in HD as with this TV - i've had it for around 8 months now, but really gives me a smile when i watch HD channels

I think some Abensons branches don't allow it. I was lucky to be able to get mine for 30997 at Abenson's, Glorietta.

Guys, I might be able to get one unit tomorrow at P30,997 minus the 28-inch LED. One final question...woukd this be a worthy "upgrade" from my 39-inch Toshiba LED Full HD TV? The Toshiba is a gift from my fiancee but planning to transfer to the living room instead. Appreciate yiur input/s. Thanks

worth every inch ... i find the PQ much better than LED on SD and HD video ... and this is based on my comparison with my LED tv which is newer

Bro. Raptor, THANKS for answering the phone re: my inquiry. I was in the mall over lunch and brought my HDD with me with MKV files. I was able to do an A-B comparison of this Philips 50-incher vs the Toshiba 50-incher vs the Samsung 50F5000 Plasma...Well, alam mo na ang kasunod!

Considering it is a sealed LAST unit...OH WELL...took the dive...Good luck to me!

Check for dead pixel. Mine has one dead pixel when I got it. Tinawag ko agad sa abensons and around 3 days ata, na-replace ng new unit.

I plugged in my laptop to the TV. There's an online test you can do to detect dead pixels on the screen of the plasma TV. It flashes different solid colors on the screen and from there you can spot the dead pixel/s.
