Lipsync Problem with Mede8er300x
« on: Sep 03, 2013 at 01:46 PM »
Set Up: Mede8er300x connected to Epson 8350 via HDMI for video, and a Logitec PC speaker via analog audio stereo RCA. Audio setting is SPDIF downmix. TV Sys is set to HDMI Auto. 1080p 24Hz is switched off.

Power supply: 240v, 50Hz (living in Brunei at the moment)

I am experiencing noticeable lypsinc issues (video is ahead of audio) with my current set up. Ive checked my projector and it can handle up to 1080p at 24/30/50/60hz. One observation i have is when I press TV sys, my mede8er shows 1080p 60hz. Shouldnt the frequency be following my power supply frequency of 50hz? Or is the video frequency independent of the power supply frequency.

Also, Ive tried connecting the mede8er directly to my TV via HDMI (video & audio) and there is no lipsync issue (changed audio setting to HDMI downmix).

Any help would be appreciated.
