to test, i-connect mo yung front speakers mo sa rear na connector sa HTIB (still using the short speaker cables).  Check mo kung naiba SQ.  If naiba, it's not the cable, but the speaker output ports.

Yes. Kc maski same drivers, kung iba ang location/positioning and enclosure, magka-iba din ng tunog. Some HTiBs have different enclosure design for their surrounds.

In my LG HTIB, my front speakers are the same with the rear speakers and you can interchange them.

By playing music in stereo mode, the sound quality becomes different and is inferior on the speakers with the long cable length. Basically, I tried removing the wires of my front speakers and made the rear speakers as LF & RF. Iba ang tunog nung sa mahabang cable.

When you play pink noise on the HTIB test mode do you hear a difference in tone or timbre? What is the model of the HTIB? Some HTIB's have speakers that masquerade as a two way (tweeter and mid unit) but when you dissect it the tweeter unit is aesthetic only. I came across that type of an HTIB before.

Consider also that a 10 gauge is very hard to conceal due to its thickness and the LG HTIB  might not even be able to accept it since basically almost all HTIB's use the spring type speaker connector. You would still need to find a suitable termination for that.

Anyway, as I have mentioned, I opted for the 12 gauge wires as replacement. Due to the thickness, id didn't fit in the speaker terminals. To make the ends fit, I had to trim about 1/4-1/3 of the copper at the ends to reduce the copper thickness.

very reasonanle na yan for monoprice cables. mas mura sigurado ang 12awg sa raon pero malamang undersized and low copper quality ang makuha mo. yun eh kung copper nga ang laman! but if you know what to look for you can get good wires din naman at great prices.

tama .. dala ka magnet alibasbas, kasi yung nabili namin ni joelsoldao doon sa raon na-mamagnet yung wire, ibig sabihin di pure copper.

Parang nasayang lang ang 12AWG if binawasan mo rin.  You would've been ok with 14AWG, and maybe saved yourself a couple of bucks for Jollibee...

Feeling ko, kung HTiB, #16 is ok na. Actually yun stock wires niya for sure sapat na. But of course, it's the TS decision. Unless it's the full sized HTiBs na mga nilabas ng Onkyo.

Maraming ganyan. Pagtagal kulay green &/or kalawang na.

Meron din di namamagnet, CCAW. Parang meron din pure Al, tapos sasabihin ng seller Silver coated kaya ganun ang kulay.  BTW Al is only about 60% as conductive as Cu.

Most HTIB stock wires are 20 or 22, too thin for 4 ohm speakers. But you're right 16 is enough for 4 ohm loads up to about 30ft.

Do you mean, mag-upgrade because malaki ang wires na nabili niya? Well that's a valid excuse for our wife.  We simply tell them, " Eh anong magagawa ko, nagkamali ako ng bili ng wire?! Kaya nga bumibili na ng receiver para hindi masayang itong wire na nabili ko eh!!! Palibhasa, wala kang pahalaga sa pera." Sabay talikod at hampas ng pinto pasara.

kapag ofc ang tanso, hindi ito nag tarnish basta basta, at malambot ang mga wires.

kapag ilan weeks lang kulay green na at may mga amag looking spots, may halo yun composition ng wire which reacts with the air kaya mamasa-masa tignan at yun wire sobrang panget na at wala na ang kintab.
