I've been used to plain doors in the UK which tend to be rather boring, these type of designs are new to me & look quite good.

Thanks redstarrising, I never thought I would have chosen a red colour (blues & reds are not me) but it's grown on me. Can't wait to get to site today to see the room with a bit more depth to the colour.

Thanks Gino, I decided on 2 doors for the soundproofing also a good way to take up the 15" between the HT & lounge wall surfaces.

Thanks dodie, when I looked at Gino's red room I didn't consider red for mine but the colour has grown on me, just proves tastes change with time.

The decorators desperately trying to complete the paintwork today - it's not going to happen.
Modified the seat riser steps to have a side nosing to make it easier for the carpet fitter.

Painting the baseboard.

Right wall.

Left wall.

Monday Aug. 11th.
All carpet gripper fitted. We had a little distraction when we unwrapped the carpet out popped a rat & we spent 5 minutes chasing it around the HT room. Luckily the carpet is undamaged but a little dirty but cleanable.
Still a little painting & door finishing to do.

Carpet dragged into the HT room.

Finishing touches being done to the baseboard.

Stage underlay laid.

Finished paintwork - front.

Center section of carpet cut - right hand side.

Tuesday Aug. 12th.

Carpet now laid, I'll take some better photos tomorrow after I've cleared up & fitted the speaker brackets. Apologies for the lack of light in the 1st 2 photos, can't understand what happened.
