Do you need a parametric EQ for your sub duties ba?
Sir Nelson i think i do.. was considering the lower models of OBRs Antimode or SVS subEQ.Sir OBR yes your page is the one i check first for updates keep em up
Update Sept 13th. Air con. unit installed & tested. Equipment rack returned & now to my satisfaction. I'll be cleaning up tomorrow & will take photos.
I'm excited for this room.
this is it! woooooooohoooooooo!
I like the equipment rack. Did you have your guys custom build it? Or is it available locally?
I suggest to have lighting behind the rack for easy cable plugging or unplugging gears ...
I would paint the A/C to a color that would match your room.
I've checked out the rear of the rack & with the daylight lamps at the front I can see OK but if I change them I'll have to fit lighting at the rear. Thanks for the suggestion audiojunkie.
You're welcome, OBR.. yes, with empty shelves more light will pass thru it. Once you put gears in place, sometimes it's difficult to spot on the correct connection. Toslink is one of the hard to find the right orientation.
Very nice! Exciting times...
I hope things are ok there, Oldboyracer.
Yes all OK, thanks Gino. I've been installing the LED rope lights & cable trunking to the rear of the rack. Also found white primer & black paint on the carpet so have been spending a lot of time trying to remove it. Noticed today that the door frame has moved & cracked the joint around the frame, that will be redone with flexible filler. I won't start installing the gears until the HT room is finished properly & I can lock the door. I'm looking to install the acoustic panels in about 2 weeks so it's getting close
Bro, what brand are your rope lights? Where did you source them and how much? Thanks!
You can check out the LED rope lights here in Davao Jen. Sa Bajada, near Metro Hospital, may Korean company selling all sorts of LED lights..
It would be better to do first the acoustic panels installation before the gears...
