Do you need a parametric EQ for your sub duties ba?
Sir Nelson i think i do.. was considering the lower models of OBRs Antimode or SVS subEQ.

Sir OBR yes your page is the one i check first for updates :) keep em up :)

My sentiment entirely sir Jake. I'm not one for getting excited & usually take things in my stride but this time things are different. I can only put it down to being a creation from ground up & yes I have to admit I am now getting a little excited   :) :) :)

Looking at the equipment rack pictures the details are hard to see, it will probably look a little better when the gears are in but in the meantime I'll get some extra lighting in the room tomorrow & see if I can get some better shots.

I like the equipment rack. Did you have your guys custom build it? Or is it available locally?

I would paint the A/C to a color that would match your room.

I've checked out the rear of the rack & with the daylight lamps at the front I can see OK but if I change them I'll have to fit lighting at the rear. Thanks for the suggestion audiojunkie.

Hi Nelson, I did try & get a black unit but unsuccessful, the space that the A/C is in will be covered with a black grille - one of the many things I'm waiting for.

You're welcome, OBR..  yes, with empty shelves more light will pass thru it. Once you put gears in place, sometimes it's difficult to spot on the correct connection. Toslink is one of the hard to find the right orientation.

Yes all OK, thanks Gino. I've been installing the LED rope lights & cable trunking to the rear of the rack. Also found white primer & black paint on the carpet so have been spending a lot of time trying to remove it. Noticed today that the door frame has moved & cracked the joint around the frame, that will be redone with flexible filler. I won't start installing the gears until the HT room is finished properly & I can lock the door. I'm looking to install the acoustic panels in about 2 weeks so it's getting close   ;D

Your quite right audiojunkie but as I have someone installing the acoustic panels we will have a sound test after the install, the panels will be fitted using Velcro so no dust or mess.

Hi Jen, got the rope lights from Wilcon I will have to find the receipt but I think around P4,500 for a 5 meter length. I didn't do very much research, I saw them & just bought for convenience.
