This calculator has been very accurate for me. I normally just plug in 10% in the Tariff rate field. Note that even shipping/insurance cost will be taxed.

What I like about this is predictability. I know exactly how much to save. Feeding the crocs is hit or miss. I also avoid express shipping which tend to land at Pasay EMS. Pasay EMS has Lolongs to feed.

http://triviasofsubstance.blogspot.com/2010/08/philippines-customs-tax-calculator.html

+1000, so many Lolongs there at EMS Pasay. ;D

To those looking for MarkAudio drivers, I got mine from a retailer in SG so if you have friends, relatives or if you're planning to go on a trip you can get a pair. the boxes can easily fit in a regular sized luggage  ;)

Hmmmm..... double the price?..... let's see.

If coming from the US - $36 x 4 pcs = $144 plus $75 balikbayan box (45 days delivery) = $ 219 say Php 9,855, Therefore, Php2,465 per piece, roughly

From singapore, S$80 = Php2,800 per piece

Not far ..... Sourcing from Singapore would be ok

that's 80sgd from the retailer in SG  ;)

Matagal pa naman siguro yan brader, but if not, andiyan naman si brader timber mas sigurado pa hahaha... pero I promise, acoustic wool at hindi foam. Using high density foam is a definite no-no. :)

May mga taong mahilig sa itlog, either paper egg tray or foam egg tray. Bast may egg kaya puro itlog kinalalAbasan.

Its because he is just copying from an original design, para maiba at hindi makasuhan eh ibinababa nya quality ng materials pero ang masakit ayaw umamin, may sumasali kasi.

Another good example is instead of using polyester board eh carpet ang ipinalit for the same price pa ha, mas maganda daw carpet kaysa fBric. Heck yes kung flooring pinaguusApAn.

Jojo might need a few blankets of that wool for a built in system. Mahirap mag tipid kawawa ang client. Just like sa fiberglass vs cellulose fiber.

There's no substitute for breast milk. ;D

There's a reason for the use of specific materials, using other than the specified materials will also work but will just be useless. Sayang lang kung balewala din.

there's a specific coefficient of absorption that we want, rockwool should work but not optimal because of it's density. a dense damping material will take precious box volume, that's why a loose fiber or cotton wool is much preferred because it will dampen the box but it will not take much volume due to it's density.

No problem. We normally can have the audition after office hours or weekend nights.

On the buko pie, yes that's the location.

Neo gave a quote of : $120 (4 drivers) + $65 shipping = $185 ex-duties/taxes

Can anyone calculate, compute or obtain the most probable charges when it reaches Philippine shores?

If this package ever ends up in Pasay EMS then be ready because their computation skills is beyond my understanding.

If you're lucky, it could end up in Makati Post Office if you send it to your office address.

Neo sent me a quote from FedEX for the duties/taxes at US$135.

So, total = US$185 (drivers & Shipping) + US$135 (duties and taxes) = US$320
