Topic: Plese Help me decide which TV to buy

hello pdvd! ask ko lang which is better dito sa mga options ng TV dito sa list... First of, lahat sila nandito sa list dahil same price range sila lahat sa abot ng budget ko.

Sony KDL-42W654
Samsung UA-40F5100
LG 42LN5400 or 42LA6130 (3D)

I have an HD cable subscription, PS3, and plans to hook the TV on my home stereo... comments, suggestion are very much welcome... TIA

If it will be used for gaming.. PS3 or maybe PS4 or gaming PC in the future..  I would recommend the W654.. because of the good input lag... http://www.displaylag.com/display-database/

I think the Samsung models which have good input lag is the F5000 and F5500 based on that database..

I got a W654 myself but I haven't really tried the other two sets.. I had an experience na with LG LCD TV's before and PQ was good... Not sure sa Samsung though... Plasma lang yung natry ko sa kanila and naging happy naman din ako..

Audition mo nalang sa store na meron lahat yan sir..baka pwede rin nila compare side by side.. baka pwede lang hehehe..

Thank you Sir Icermad sa Reply, +1 na sa Sony... That was really a helpful tip... One thing I must ask pala is how well W654 speakers perform? Kasi I read somewhere na downside ng W654 ay ang speaker nya, my living room size is about 20sqm but my place is relatively quiet, walang mga ingay ng sasakyan or tricycle. Yung W654 na nasa mall may bundled na 5.1 na dvd player kaso ni check ko yung player wala din naman audio input para magamit ko sana kahit nanonood lang ng TV. Okay ba volume level ng W654 in terms of loudness?

TAKE TOSHIBA, you won't regret of its reliability and performance. Toshiba has been "operating" under the radar now for a long time, that most folks misses its presence. Kung bibili ka ng dalawang Korean brands na yan luluha ka ng dugo because they're notorious for their outrageous failure rate. Ask around, say Anson's....

Hi sir.. when I auditioned the speakers dun sa store parang ok naman.. but I'm not really concerned with it kasi nakareceiver ako.. yung Free HT nya sir may audio input pero yung white and red lang RCA ba tawag dun?

I was eyeing on Toshiba as well but I'm not sure kung san makakakuha Parang limited lang kasi yung mga Toshiba dito satin..

CHECK Anson's website, they're a known Toshiba outlet. Suwerte kami sa Toshiba, the oldest unit we have is a CRT that's still being used for 15 years. The most abused Toshiba unit is a 32-inch LCD, used by rowdy tots who pokes crayons, pencils, lipsticks, wooden rulers into the surface and it endures it well for five years (and running). Toshiba don't need to hire a Soleen Heusaff model to publicized its merits, discerning videophiles know Toshiba is around and manufacturing tough good TVs. Its even poised to released a 4K TV, malamang yun ang unang-unang 4K LED na makakarating dito....

It really depends. If I were you go check out the TV's for yourself and make sure you bring your own discs and not the discs ng salesman kasi pang demo yan and set the tv to normal since the displays are set to dynamic. This way you can see real world applications. As for longevity it would depend and really can't tell which brands are better since there are a lot of variables. Here's my experience. I have brothers who are all competitive and we never like getting the same brand. So a couple of years back 3 of us bought 32" LCD's in I got a Samsung, the youngest got an LG and my older bro a Toshiba. All priced at 30k the Toshiba developed green vertical lines after 3 years while the Samsung and LG is still up and running up to this day and note I use my tv more since i have a growing kid.

me mi eyeing for toshiba L4300U or sony w654 ... i think they are both amazing, pic and audio quality wise.. both have 32" screen size, my preference since i will only use it in my room. wala nako sasabihin na iba pa, but you have to try these brands.

personal opinion based on personal experience: samsung is a little not accurate when it comes to colors. maybe a little tweeking will help. LG naman po is a bit yellowish i think, na kahit anong tweek ko eh kita ko pa rin ang diff nila ni samsung or maybe it is just me hehehe. i own both samsung and lg tvs, both are 50",and i use samsung for my HT use.  they are both good brands pero my hinahanap pa rin ako na "hindi ko rin maexplain kung ano" haha! that is why, this bonus season i went to some electronics/av stores and found these two japanese brands that answers it. pero 32 inches lang kunin ko since pang kwarto lang naman para mapalitan na ang makonsumo kong 29" sony crt tv... kung may budget ka or pandagdag sa budget mo, kung ako sayo mag panasonic plasma ka na latest models kahit hindi mga top models

Yup. Youd be happy with the low input lag din for your gaming needs with a sony.
